Tried "The Village Patio" a local restaurant in Sarasota, FL. right on the edge of the Art District neighborhood for lunch this afternoon. I met the owner Patrick and stuck up a conversation with him about his restaurant and sports. Very enjoyable local establishment to take a break at and get something to eat and people watch. Pizza was very good all fresh produce. Patrick was even kind to provide me with a taste of his brisket that he was preparing for the day. Brisket was amazing! The Village Patio is such an inviting place. It makes me think of the restaurant in Juliette Georgia, The Whistle Stop Cafe, with its southern charm, but with a Florida twist. While they do serve brisket, coleslaw and Bar B Q sandwiches, you'll also find fresh salads, tacos, quesadillas, and pizza! Delicious food with a friendly atmosphere. The food here is delicious. They have a 3 type of meat plate which came with brisket, pull pork and ribs and 2 sides (the portions was a great size) and it was extremely tasty.
