I used to love going here. I ordered the Chicken biscuit special with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The potatoes and mac and cheese smelled and tasted like vinegar, I even had others try to make sure I was not overreacting and they agreed with me. I called Lou's and had asked if they use vinegar in their recipes so I know or not if i should continue eating this meal. The person I spoke with only said "no" over and over again when I was just trying to explain the issue with this food, then she was just silent as if I was wrong or there was no problem. I was not offered an apology, refund or anything to fix this issue, which I was not expecting by any means but at least an apology is the bare minimum a professional business could offer. I did some looking around and in multiple articles it stated that if the milk is expired or gone bad, then the food (like mac and cheese/mashed potatoes) would taste and smell like vinegar. I cannot accuse that they would use expired products, but the way this situation was treated on the phone I was very disappointed and it looks very suspicious. The food is absolutely incredible and the staff is wonderful! Very fast and efficient, not to mention the place sparkles… my personal favorite was the broccoli cheese soup with ham… The best soup I’ve ever eaten in my life....
