The Donut Shop — Restaurant in Brady

Great donuts and kolaches! Good coffee too! The owner is a really nice guy and was super friendly. He had just about sold out of everything when we came by. I’m pretty sure that’s what happened when the one star reviewer came by and he was closed—you have to close up if you sell out! The donuts and kolaches we had were super fresh and delicious, so even though there wasn’t a huge selection it didn’t really matter. We were really happy with our twists, cheese and meat kolache and fresh coffees.

I don’t know why anyone would review a place with one star just because they happened to not be open when you came by, if you didn’t experience the place just move on don’t mess with their average just because the timing didn’t work out. Small businesses really need their reviews to reflect their actual offering. Let’s be kind to one another folks!

Only saw the “most important” man in Brady for a moment. His soft donut hands and fresh donuts left a lasting impression. Maybe one day i’ll be fortunate enough to return. Recommend the cinnamon twist. Not a huge selection...
