The cake looked great and tasted even better but this is the 3rd time I've gotten a cake from them and everytime there is an issue with communication. The first time I had ordered the cake so that I could pick it up from the Quincy location....I even called 2 days prior to reconfirm it would be there because a friend of mine was going to be the one picking it up...they said yes and that I had nothing to worry about. The day of the party my friend goes to pick up the cake and it's not there...apparently it was at the Braintree location...meaning my friend had to drive all the way to braintree to get the cake only to come all the way back to Boston where everyone in my party (including the birthday boy) had finished eating at the restaurant we were at and was waiting for the cake to get there almost an hour later. I reached out to management and they compensated me by giving me a gift card for the value of the cake to use towards a future cake and I accepted because like I mentioned earlier, the cake was beautiful and it tasted great. The second time I ordered cake was less of a hassle but once again they were trying to figure out where the cake was and after about 10 minutes of searching they found the cake in the back somewhere. The most recent order I made with them was in March of 2019....another birthday cake. I emailed in regarding what I wanted and inquired about how much it would cost. At first I didn't get a response for about 2 days and I called in to let someone know I'd been waiting for a response. After a day someone responded to me. I emailed another idea for a cake and got the pricing for it too but when I responded that I wanted to move forward and proceed with payment and I heard nothing back for 5 days. I called once more and was told I'd get a call back but I never did. I ended up having to go to the store in braintree directly to place the order. I was given a price via email that included a cake topper but once I got there I got told they don't have or provide cake toppers. I paid for the cake and I called two times prior to picking up the cake to make sure it would be at the Quincy location. Once I got there it took another 10 minutes for them to find it and once they did the cake looked amazing but I had requested a banner with the words "happy birthday______" written on it and it wasn't on it. I let the employee know and he took down my name and number and apologized but assured me management was going to reach out... it's been close to a month and I have yet to hear...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been working 2 miles away from this place but every time I step outside I can smell the bakery. Decided to give it a shot today and donāt regret it.
I had the best white/margarita pizza Iāve ever had. It was amazing.
Though I did not buy any they had a very large variety of baked goods.
I give the service 3 stars because there was a pretty big line that could have been handled better. Nobody was prepping any orders, it was all just asking what people want at the register. If there was someone asking customers what they wanted and prepping it to be ready to be rung out, things would go 100% faster instead of the cashier also being the runner. Separate to that one cashier waved me down to the register to take my order and then got distracted for 2 minutes helping her coworker with something. In the mean time I was at the register while the person behind me got their order. Not the biggest deal but also: donāt wave someone down if youāre not ready to help them.
Despite how great the food was, I value my time more than anything. Iām not sure if they were having an off day. Iāll probably give them another shot. But if anyone who works there is reading this: have someone taking and prepping orders while someone elseās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went here for wedding cake tasting. Getting there from Boston at 1 in the afternoon on a summer Friday was a horror show, but even as late as we were it didn't stop them from dedicating plenty of time to accommodate us. While looking over the designs and such we had some of there pizza and arancini's. Pizza was eh, not great, not terrible, but the arancini was super delicious. We got the beef and the buffalo chicken. Back to the cake tasting, while there were 5 of us, we were only offered 1 slice of each flavor to share. That in itself was fine, but no knives or individual plates to slice it on to. Here's the most important part of the day, the samples were phenomenal and I absolutely hate a bad dessert. Each different choice was a moist, delectable, decadent piece of loveliness, that includes the flavors I didn't like. The buttercream frosting was not painfully overbearing or gobed on. This was the second, but more formal time having there cake and well worth the hour and 25 minutes it took to get there. We'll wait to see the results at our wedding, but am looking forward to it very much, the...
