The Casual Cup Cafe — Restaurant in Braintree

First and last time going to this establishment. The 2 people on staff were friendly. That is the only reason we did not send everything back. The place was empty except for 1 person sitting at the counter. The tables and floor were filthy and there was no one in there. Must had been from the day before. The iced coffees we ordered were not good and not as advertised. We think both the people on staff were nice but did not know what they were doing. The avocado toast was on generic wheat bread was not good. It was just slices of avocado with pepper and salt just dumped on the center of it. The bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant had 1 piece of bacon, 1 egg that was burned and tasted like dirty grill. A small child could have done a better job. Not even sure if there was cheese on it. The croissant was also greasy. We left and threw out the 2nd ice coffee and we smelled like dirty grill after leaving. I would stay away don’t understand the 4.2 star average review. We wish we took a picture as it did not look as what they advertised on their site...

We were on our way to a different breakfast place, when we happened to walk by this cafe. The wait was long at the other restaurant so we decided to just try the Casual Cup Cafe. We were so happy we did! We ordered egg and cheese on an English muffin. We also order a hekla pastry because we were super hungry. Both were yummy! My husband ordered a hot coffee and said it was just the way he liked it. I ordered a raspberry lime rickey and it was also perfect! They said they make their own natural raspberry mix, and that it was not made with any syrup. We're both glad we stumbled upon this place and definitely plan to stop by again...

The coffee is good, place was clean, but we were hoping to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere inside when we came. Unfortunately they closed early for the day but didn’t tell us before letting us order and we had to leave as soon as it came out. Let people know before hand because spending money at a shop is to enjoy the taste but also the experience. We would’ve gone to a chain to have coffee to go, or would’ve gone somewhere else to spend our day off having morning coffee together at a seat. We will give it another chance in the future but if this were to happen again we would...
