I got the Round Steak Pho (XL size) on DoorDash delivery. For $25 (high price but i wanted XL size so whatever). When putting it all together, I saw there were a lot of noodles (which is good) but didn’t think much of the size of the broth container until I poured the broth ontop of everything else and realized how little broth they gave me. I then added the hoisin and sriracha and within seconds of mixing, there was barely any liquid left once the large large amount noodles soaked up the broth. This photo was taken about 3 minutes after I made the bowl and had taken a few bites. It seems like they gave me an XL portion of noodles and meat…. But not broth as I realized it wasn’t that large of a broth container. Pho is suppose to be a soup! The noodles always soak a little broth but there was not enough broth at all. Pho is not a noddle dish like a lo mein… again it’s a soup!. I ate a few bites of the noodle and all the steak and couldn’t eat it anymore cause there is no broth to drink. $25 spent on the pho alone… and it’s not even a soup!
I gave a 2 overall rating because my partner did like...
Read moreThis place is very good. But does shady pricing on DoorDash. I’ve ordered three times, the first time the chicken banh mi was $14.95, and the egg rolls were $9. The second time i ordered the banh mi was $16 and the rolls were $9. The THIRD time i ordered the banh mi was $16 and the rolls were $12.95 mind you it’s only two rolls.
After posting this I got a response, the first was defensive a bit unprofessional (See attached). The second more professional and better explained the reasoning for the price changes, and the third updated response is much better!! Not sure if it was the same person, I tried to call (using the number on the website) as stated in response, but brought me to voicemail, and then I exchanged messages with a customer service line. update I see they added the name I use (for DoorDash specifically) to their response so I suppose maybe I was talking to someone important, perhaps the same person?
Because of the first response I’m going to leave it 3 stars.
I’d still recommend- hopefully when you go your experience is...

If youre like me, you love a good banh mi. If you're vegetarian / vegan, your main choices are likely s and n in randolph or bala something inside kam man in quincy. However, you may not be able to make it there before these two places close recently.
So, you might look for something else and find a relatively new place, Ganh Pho, that doesnt list a tofu banh mi on their menu. However; you might go anyways and ask, and they may make you one that is even more delicious than all others you've had. They'll make it fresh to order. Their tofu is delicious and doesnt have any off putting marinade. Their pickled veggies are plentiful and fresh. The entire sub is warm / toasty.
You may end up driving back again 3 days later to grab a few extra to keep in the fridge for breakfast.
They are a couple dollars more than the other places, but I think this place is now my preferred vietnamese sandwhich option.
I cant wait to try some of their other options hopefully soon. Not the best picture, but...
