I just moved to the Norfolk county area this month and I was in desperate need of a trim to my hair & bangs for an interview I had. I searched my area for a salon that had availability at the time on short notice and Verde had an opening with Kayleigh for the next day. This was my first time ever at the salon and Kayleigh was outstanding!! I came in with extremely dead, uneven hair that I hadn't had cut in FIVE years (I cut it boy-short before and hated it and refused to cut it for years, but it started to die and fall out & stop growing) and Kayleigh was able to remedy it into something that looked sooo much cleaner and more professional. She was super honest and informative from the very minute I sat down. Super, super attentive and would take photos of the back of my hair throughout the process and check in with me to see what I wanted the next steps to be and make sure I was satisfied, which was hugely appreciated. She also conducted herself in a super professional manor and was very knowledgeable and explained what she was doing or what she would recommend every step of the way. Also making recommendations about different products or techniques to implement to get my hair back to being healthier. She was also super friendly, kind and patient! I had expressed being very particular about my bangs and she took her time with it and made sure to check in every time she went to do something to them, and asked all the right questions. Unfortunately, I was even a bit late to appointment because I'm still unfamiliar with the area and went to the old location. Despite being late, she never ever made me feel rushed. She made me feel like my time and business was valued! I know I came in with hair that was a bit of a challenge, but Kayleigh was able to turn it completely around and cut out a lot of the dead without taking off too much length. She mentioned that she is still growing and learning about hair within the company, and you can tell she really enjoys her job and cares to learn more. I would 100% recommend her for your next haircut, highlights, or her speciality- extensions!! Kayleigh, thank you so much for the cut! You are appreciated and made my first experience a great one! I will definitely be a returning client! I went to a job interview the very next day, and the VERY first thing my interviewer said was that she LOVED my hair and bangs...AND I got the job! (: I got sooo many compliments on my bangs the next day actually! Also, the salon is HUGE and absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside. Super peaceful, relaxing place. And ALL of the staff that I came into contact with were outgoing and kind. My only recommendation would be if you're new to the area or this is your first time coming here is to just make sure you plug in the correct address on...

Google reviews led me to Verde a year after they opened and I have been a happy client ever since! While the salon has grown (physically and with increased staff), they still have that chill and welcoming vibe. It is the ONLY salon I have been to where the teamwork is so evident and strong that you can change stylists without resentment. With that said, I have never changed due to a bad experience but things like scheduling or price points. I currently see Kayla and am amazed at how well she is able to create the color and style I envision. Over the last year, she has worked towards getting me "back to my roots", which makes me so happy! As a brunette, I used to think that was an easy color to get right but when you want it with dimension and some shades of auburn, it takes a skilled colorist who communicates well to get you there. She is sweet, warm and truly cares about her client's satisfaction. She was nearly giddy when I told her how much I love my color! She is helpful when it comes to determining how long you should schedule an appointment and has great product suggestions without being pushy. I really enjoy my time in her chair and ALWAYS leave happy with the end result!

Unwind at Verde Facial Review: A few months ago, I was super frustrated by the condition of my skin. It was "raging" with several inflamed red areas and flakiness. I decided to try a facial with Alissa and am not exaggerating when I say the improved results were immediate. I left that appointment with my skin already appearing more restored and calmer. I was actually waiting for things to return to that raging state since I did not believe one facial could save the day. Not only did the more recent issues improve, but areas that had been bothersome for years (red and flaky spots) were 80% better. I had tried every skin product AND consulted with dermatologists but had not gotten any better . . . until that facial. Alissa is passionate about her work and is so knowledgeable. Her demeanor is calm and warm, which makes a facial experience even more comfortable. Molly Leonard was recommended to me by someone I trust, whose hair always looks amazing! I have had the same stylist for over 10 years and she recently moved so was very nervous to try someone new. Molly could not have been more friendly, informative and inviting. The second I stepped into the salon, I knew I made the right choice. It’s beautiful and such a relaxed environment! Molly was so knowledgeable and we took a good while discussing what I wanted done(and I never once felt rushed), she made some suggestions after looking at my hair and listening. She was so patient cause I definitely had a bunch of questions! She took the time and effort to make my hair come out perfect! I was so beyond pleased and it was such a relief finding someone that hit every nail on the head! She really made me feel at ease and just had the best personality and is so easy to talk to. She was so knowledgeable about everything and explained every part of the process and her suggestions were so on point! I left there with my hair feeling so healthy, having more body than it has in a while and it’s so much more easy to style now. The color was perfect and looked so much better than I expected with someone that was doing my hair for the first time. I am probably the most picky person out there and had actually let my hair go a bit because I was so nervous about having someone new touch my hair. I could not be happier with My hair and I would recommend Molly to anyone looking for a true professional that clearly takes pride in the the work she does and takes the time and effort to ensure her client is happy after. She even took the time to talk to me about other options I mentioned I may want in the future and she just knew so much about everything! If you want an outstanding stylist, run(don’t walk) to Molly!
