China One — Restaurant in Branchville

Working and staying at the biggest employer in Branchville, this was one of the most obvious and limited choice for dinner..especially being right below where I was put up. Man!! What a HUGE mistake, it started with we take only CASH for orders, when asked for receipt..said "NO" receipt and then writes on back of a piece of paper and hands it over, and the "NO" didn't end here.."NO" fortune cookies, "NO" chopsticks..was told, we don't give chopsticks ever....i mean really...a Chinese restaurant without chopsticks and kicker was... the food quality was WAY below average...I'd rate 0 stars.. I am taking my business elsewhere even if it means...

I usually don't waste my time writing food reviews but I had to do it this time. Whoever gave this place a 5 star rating must have spent their entire life on a local farm and never got out to have any other Chinese food. Everything we ordered was terrible without any flavor. For example : sauce on the chicken and broccoli tasted like gravy. Pepper steak with onions barely had any meat, and the vegetable fried rice was mostly rice with barely any vegetables. Next time I'll stick with Eastern Garden in Wantage or Chun Bo in Newton which are...

Well, Most restaurants of this type will offer lunch specials that are complete. The eggroll or soup that is normally a choice was considered an add on. For takeout no packets of sauce. I had to confirm with the counter person that a fork would be useful. Chopsticks were also not an option. My roast pork kinda tastes old. I'm sorry to say I won't bother going back. There are plenty of other choices for lunch in...
