They just opened on June 1, 2023, and you can tell. I think you have to be fair and give them some time to figure it out, but they're having some growing pains in the first two weeks.
I stood behind a man who ordered a whole pizza with double cheese and pepperoni, and the woman behind the counter had no clue what he meant by double cheese. I was as frustrated as this guy was just listening to it. He definitely not get double cheese.
We ordered a 9-piece cheesy sticks, and the woman looked at me like the 9-piece wasn't an option, even though I was staring at it on the menu. So I repeated the order and she put it in... but when they gave us the cheesy sticks there were two boxes of three and a half and four sticks each. Now that being said, if you're a Pizza Hut fan then the pizza is fine. And the breadsticks are fine. It's a corporation, so generally what you ask for is what you get. But it is an Express, so it's a limited menu by design.
Also, you should know that this is located in a truck stop between a Starbucks and one of the worst Popeyes in America. The seating area is absolutely filthy and disgusting 24/7/365. It may be unfair to blame Pizza Hut for this since they are the new kid in the building, but it does affect your perception...
