Suwannee Brew Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Branford

The shop is cute enough. The people are nice though there always seems to be a slight bit of confusion when we've visited.

I had an iced coffee with a shot of espresso. The "espresso" was pre-made and poured from a syrup bottle which I felt was odd. Upon tasting, it did seem as of the espresso was either poured over ice (watered down) or just drip coffee. The iced coffee was fine.

Wife had a latte. She wanted pumpkin spiced latte and, even though a cute sign on the counter said "pumpkin spice and everything nice", they infant did NOT have pumpkin spice. The irony. Not a big deal. Again, this drink seemed watered down as if they made it with the alleged watered down espresso or with normal coffee (not a latte imo).

Overall the service was fine. The place was cute. And drinks...

Went to their food/drink truck at a local event. Wanted some hot chocolate. Didn’t think it would take long to get some. Here we are an hour later waiting for some hot chocolate in line. Finally get up to the window and order but still wait another 20-25 minutes for our HOT CHOCOLATE!! They were supper slow and didn’t seem to care they were 5 orders behind. They need to work more effectively or have more people working. One of the dudes went away to enjoy himself to the show. Definitely not worth the wait. At least make your hot chocolate not taste like something I could’ve made at home...

We have gotten coffee there several times. I have poured out every one. It's just not good and way too weak. I hate this because this is a nice little shop. The other thing I don't like is they do not make any of their own food . So you can not order a breakfast sandwich. Like a bagel or biscuit with meat and eggs on it. IMHO this would be a good coffee shop with better coffee and something made in house to eat. I sincerely hope this place comes around.
