We tried to eat here on a Monday must've missed they are closed that day, so we came back on our last day in Branson and called ahead to ensure they were still open. We showed up walked inside and the staff was moving around in panic. We asked for a to go menu and then placed our order with a male teen, I asked if the usual wait was 20 to 30 minutes and things turned ugly in this place fast. Not sure why most pizza places we ask for the wait time and go sit outside while we wait? The male teen said hold on walked to the back to an older male who seemed to be the manager, that guy said sorry sir it's going to be a little bit, I said no worries, while this was going on the male teen walked over to the entrances and like a tantrum started slapping the light switches off and locked the door, (now we are locked inside this place and already paid for our food) the manager told the kid they needed to go the office and then this lady walked up and asked to order, the manager replied to her why are you ordering here at the counter? The lady said someone told me to, the manager then says did you not just watch me take that other tables order? She said I'm sorry no were just trying to order our food, he took their order then went to the counter then came over and said your pizza will be ready shortly, so I asked him what we did to upset them, me and the 8 year old with me... he said what are you talking about? I said sir the male teen walked over to the door and locked everyone in and had a tantrum, then you was rude to the lady trying to order, and based on the body language of every person in this room that I was observing myself your staff and you made everyone extremely uncomfortable, if I hadn't already paid for my food then been locked inside we would have left, he apologized to the lady went to the counter and gave me a refund and told me we had 5 more minutes for my order, once I had our refund I was just ready to go, so me and the 8 year old started leaving, the guy followed us outside and said I was going to give you the food too, I told him we were to uncomfortable to stay, what he didn't get in all of this, is he never apologized to us, instead made it seem like we created the issues they already have going on, he apologized to the lady out of spite to me to be rude.... it's OK Rocco we don't need your food if it comes with that emotional experience, btw the sign on your wall is not what you...
Read moreI had never been to this location before. Went to THEIR website, looked at the menu attached to THEIR website to see what I wanted to order. Decided on a plain Cheese Pizza since it's what we always got at the Nixa location when we lived there 8 years ago. Went to the drive thru and was told my order was $18+. I told the girl that I thought the menu said twelve something. She began to get extremely defensive, told me I looked at it all wrong, etc. I asked why she was being so defensive and told her I was not arguing with her...to charge me whatever it is but that I would look again. I went to THEIR site again and showed the Owner or Manager or whoever he was who walked to the window and, while he agreed that it was indeed THEIR site, he too became defensive, telling me they would go broke if they charged $12.50, wasn't their menu and every excuse you could possibly think of. If it wasn't already the oddest experience ever, i AGAIN told them that I've already paid, it is no problem, but why is he being so defensive when all I did was to go by what THEIR menu read. I didn't even ask for the difference back after having proved it to them! All of a sudden, he yells to his son to give me the pizza...nearly throwing it at me! Someone told him I had already paid and so he took a $20 bill and literally threw it at my face! I told him that was uncalled for and even tried to give it back three times. He told me to leave and to not ever come back! In this day and age, I'm not sure how any business can survive with this type of an attitude but I assure you, I will certainly stay away and would suggest that...
Read moreAfter exploring the photos on review sites I knew I had to stop in here for pizza. And I am glad I did. I ordered 14" 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni and sausage pizza and a sweet tea. Sweet tea was being freshly brewed so I was brought out a water while it was brewing. The tea was about 1 minute behind the water. Fast. The pizza came out very quick as well. Wow, what a great New York crust. Very thin and really above and beyond what I was expecting. I enjoyed the sauce too. For the cheese slices, no shortage of cheese. I very much enjoyed the cheese slices. The sausage concerned me. Normally, I wouldn't order sliced sausage on a pizza. I prefer the bulk style that is pulled apart and individual pieces placed on top of everything else. However, upon hearing the description of the sausage in more detail I felt it was worth ignoring my typical preferences. And I was glad I did. I really enjoyed the sliced sausage. Had a very good and just unique enough flavor I was glad was there. The pepperoni was appropriately placed under the cheese where it belongs (regardless of pizza style in my opinion). I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. The staff was excellent. Very friendly, very polite, helpful and I was genuinely happier when I left. Pizza and service were great. The biggest compliment I can give a restaurant is my repeat business. Rocco's will definitely get more of...
