Sweets and Smiles Bakery — Restaurant in Branson

My family and I were on our way to the lake when we decided we wanted a sweet treat along the way. Reading some of the previous favorable reviews convinced me enough to stop on by.

The display of the various sweet treats was organized quite professionally and the prices were wonderful. My daughter settled on a Confetti cupcake. I went for a Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake bar and my wife got the Champagne Cupcake.

The Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake bar was very delicious. The cheesecake part of the bar was very soft and the chocolate chip cookie part was so much like cookie dough. It was very satisfying.

I also tried some of the Champagne Cupcake. The texture of the cake part was perfect. It was soft and fluffy but not overly dense, oily or dry. The frosting was on point and the fruit filling was both sweet and refreshing.

The service and environment was also incredibly friendly. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was kind, upbeat and made it easy to leave a favorable review. This is a must stop if you are ever in the area in search of the perfect...

These people are amazing! I tried probably 6 bakers in the Branson area for our 25th anniversary vow renewal and it didn't take two seconds to know who we should choose. Their service from the very first contact was above and beyond. The cake isn't dry, the flavors are incredible. I gave them a pic for them to match. I chose an off white cake to match my dress and a few flavors of cupcakes to have on the side. Everyone was asking me where I got them! People were halving their cupcakes to share different flavors with each other, they couldn't believe how good they were. One of my guests said, "that cupcake was fire." I also had cake left over for people to take home. I truly wish there were more stars...

The taste of thier baked goods are unmatched in this area. Super moist cake products and never disappointed with the goods they offer daily in the display. Always a cheerful attitude by the folks working behind the counter. However, I do not intend to purchase another birthday cake from them. Poor communication through email, had to repeat flavor and design requests then no response for weeks. I asked specifically that they not go heavy on the fondant and that was literally the only thing they put on the cake decoration wise. That and edible stickers that could have been done through a bakery at walmart. My heart sunk when they brought the cake out, I've seen them do much more detailed cakes for...
