Culver’s — Restaurant in Breitung Township

The clam chowder is so watery, it's hard to tell it IS clam chowder. I quite enjoy the Culver's food chain, I do. I like the food they serve, it seems more real than most fast food joints do. However, I also like Clam Chowder when it IS clam chowder. I've had Culver's before, so I don't think it's the entirety of the place that does this. The night staff refill their clam chowder supply by pouring water in it. If I wanted water, I would have bought water. It's disgusting. Even when I had come back in and told the staff, "I don't want the clam chowder if it's watered down." They replied, "We don't water down our soup." Well, when I received my food, the clam chowder was so watered down I asked for my money back because I'm not paying $5-6 for soup that looks too much like water to even be called soup. Culver's never disappoints! Driving thru on our way home from vacation we needed something quick but that wasn't greasy. We decided to even dine in to let the kids stretch their legs. Lots of seating room and multiple booth options. The seating arrangement is in a horseshoe style so it offers a little more privacy and less noise which was perfect to not feel right on top of everyone at a typical fast food place.
