On Thursday 4/12 at approximately 4p, I place my order thru the drive thru. I order and 4pc Tender basket, upgraded to cheese curds instead of fries and a drink w a mini strawberry mixer. I get my mini STRAWBERRY mixer and there is barely a hint of strawberry to taste and there is visible vanilla cutard in the bottom of the cup that hadn't gotten any strawberry. The mixer comes w 2 options to be added but I only chose the strawberry which I've had before, but not at this location. Since there is no one in the drive thru, I circle back and ask if I could have just a little more strawberry to add to my mixer to go on top. The runner asked asst manager Tony who said I need to pay an additional $.65. I ordered a strawberry mixer and apparently it was too much of me to expect it to taste like strawberry, as it has in the past. I dont like to be wasteful, so asking for a little more strawberries seemed a reasonable enough request. Instead, Tony felt customer satisfaction was not important and held firm on making me purchase additional strawberries for my mixer. When I requested a refund he jumped to that as if to say dont expect anything for free!!! ...and began my refund. The cashier replies "over it" and skips off w the food runner following her. Tony refunds about $5.45 and chucks the mixer which i had no problem handing him as i requested my refund. Now, I know Culver's is not in business to throw away product or money; and surely they need customers to stay in business, so you would want customers to be satisfied w QUALITY menu items so we will return. So ....what are you saying to me Tony of Culver's.... Not only do you not give me quality menu items, but you'd rather throw out the product and give my money back, be out of twice the cost of the menu item (verses giving me more strawberries) and ensure my dissatisfaction??? That guarantees I dont return. Makes me wonder if my skin or the fact I have locs played a part in Tony's decision (but i digress) because after complaining to the manager on duty Sandra, I was informed that TONY SHOULD HAVE OFFERED TO REMAKE MY SUBPAR MINI MIXER!!!!!! Well I wont be back and guess what TONY ( and little miss smarty pants who was "over it"...YOU BOTH WIN😁... and now I'm...
Read moreOrdered a large fry, cup of cheese, and a drink. Last time when I got home there was about a quarter cup of cheese, not nearly enough for even a small fry. This time I asked the girl who took my payment to please make sure the cheese is filled up bc last time it wasn’t even half way etc etc. She hands me the bag and I check the cheese and sure enough it’s not even half way, not her fault. I say please take this back this isn’t even filled half way. A different lady comes to the window I’m assuming a manager, not sure. She says, “The cheese cups are prefilled there’s nothing we can do about it..,” at the same time a man walks up behind her and hands me a bag with a new cup of cheese in it and says, “Here’s a different one, the cheese is prefilled there’s nothing we can do this is how much cheese you get for $0.99 you can buy another one if it’s not enough,”- with a very rude and dismissive tone, then just walks off not even letting me answer like I’m a child. I check it and it’s about half way filled which is reasonable so I say this one is fine to the second woman who was standing there. Why is a drop of cheese that isn’t even making it half way up the container $0.99? Especially with the prices Culver’s charges for their food? Also, the cups are not pre filled that’s a lie straight to my face because the cup is boiling hot with the lid literally melting and expanding outward from how hot the cheese is. And what does “there’s nothing we can do they’re pre filled” supposed to mean? Is the cheese locked to where no one has access to it if the cups are not filled properly. It’s just ridiculous and so rude considering how expensive this place is to begin with and they want to skimp you on the cheese cups and then give you an attitude because you ask to have your cup filled up at least half way. Why they can’t be filled up all the way is beyond me but at the bare minimum fill them half way at least. Now I’m going to have to purchase 2-3 cups of cheese for a large fry because 1 cup does not suffice even a small fry. So...
Read moreOn 10/3/23 it was their 3rd day of opening. I got lunch when I got off work at 11a.m I got the burger basket with a caramel concrete mixer. I went through the drive through, a guy name Joseph brought my food out to my car he introduced himself told me about a promotional that they're having. I left I didn't start eating till I got to 165 and Cisneros at the red light. As I opened the rapped burger I noticed right away half the burger was still pink. I couldn't believe it. I called to let the manager know I asked to speak to the manager and contrell the manager got on the phone I told him exactly what's wrong that my burger is not cooked thoroughly it pink. I asked can I come the next day to get another burger and he said no he'll send me a coupon, I said I don't want a coupon I want my burger tomorrow I have my receipt then he stated oh this could be a scam I said I have my receipt I spent $13.62 for my meal I have a receipt and the order number given to me is #22 and Joseph brought out my meal to me so how is that a scam. So he changed his tune and said come in tomorrow and get the burger and he'll notify the staff and let them know Contrell said it's ok. Up until now I wasn't able to go get the burger because my elderly mom became very ill and I had to take off work to take care of her. I will be reaching out to their cooperate office because I want my burger, I work very hard for my money and will not let $13.62 go down the drain especially when everything is so very expensive right now. It's asham the thy were opened on their 3rd day and couldn't get the food cooked properly especially when they weren't crowded at the drive through or inside. I was very disappointed because Culver is my favorite place to go get a burger. I usually go to the one in Matteson or Tinley Park on 183rd and never...
