La Bodega Cafe — Restaurant in Bremen Township

I've been passing by this place for a while now and today I decided to walk in. It honestly did not disappoint upon entering you are greated with a little soup bowl. Everyone is very nice and the atmosphere is very calming. I love the decor and all the flowers they have outside it feels like a little cheerful oasis. The coffee is good!!! I am very special with my coffee and some places I've been to claim to be coffee shops etc and their coffee is weak! No flavor but this honestly surprised me. My husband got an Iced Americano with cold foam and I got a Mazapan latte they were both very tasty my husband's coffee was spot on strong and bold! And the Mazapán latte was very tasty I did ask the girl to not make it super sweet because I love to taste the coffee and it was delicious. I also got a jalapeño cheddar bacon egg and cheese bagel and I was a little disappointed because I thought the bagel had the Jalapeños inside the bread they brought out a jalapeño bowl lol but it's ok it was still very good I just wish they would have mentioned it was on the side. My busband got a breakfast torta and it was good as well. They also have a point system if you're a return costumer you get 15%off after 60pts I believe the girl said which is cool. The garden center was closed not sure if it's permantly closed or temporarily?.. I was looking forward to see some plants and possibly buy one since I'm a plant person. I highly recommend this...

This is one of the best sit down coffee places I have visited in a very long time. The atmosphere is L.A Noire with a hint of classiness to it. Very casual yet extravagant. The outdoor area looks beautiful! The plant nursery in the back looks great! You have to visit this place and take it in. Sometimes they have some Miles Davis or Coltrane playing in the background which really surprised me. Once you get your delicious coffee that is rich in flavor and done exactly how you'd like it to be done. The amazing person serving your coffee will make sure it's done the way YOU want it. It makes the experience feel premium! I highly suggest visiting and trying their snacks if coffee isn't your taste. Stopped here on our way from Chicago and so glad we did! What a wonderful, homey cafe. They have a gorgeous outdoor patio with a beautiful garden and the people who work here are just as lovely. They gave out complimentary soup while we waited for our food and drinks which was so sweet and very tasty. My sister ordered the breakfast burrito which was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Not greasy at all, just delicious! I ordered the avocado toast which came with perfectly ripe avocado arranged beautifully with tomatoes on a very tasty slice of sourdough. We also ordered the blueberry matcha and the iced abuelita latte. Both are delicious—decadent and sweet. Not something we would order all the time but definitely a treat!
