Unbeatable Eatables Inc — Restaurant in Bremen Township

I love the sandwiches and the soup from here! The location in Country Club Hills is the longest standing and best! I've been eating from Unbeatable Eatables for close to 30 years and I'm not even 40! Some of the same people have been working here the whole time and now their grown children work there! My teenage daughter loves when I bring her food home from here! I've introduced this place to lots of people over the years, especially because they stare at my sandwich in awe and ask where did I get that from, then they fall in love! I live in the city and drive out to CCHills when there's 2 locations closer to me, but they're not the same and 1 of them I haven't been to lol! I pray they never ever close the CCHills store! This was my first time trying this place. I like the customer service. They had a great menu. I ordered the day special which was the Italian beef. And I ordered a cup of chicken gumbo. The Italian beef was like when I've never seen before. It had the meat and large peppers on it.. I wasn't really crazy about the large peppers, even though I asked him to dip it, it still seemed kind of dry.. I would never get the Italian beef from there again. But I would be willing to try something else. The chicken gumbo soup was okay. I would try it again. But it's nothing to brag about .. The customer service is great. I have been eating here since they opened and every time I’m back here in Illinois this was a must have, it’s been over 8 years and all I can say is I will not ever come back the amount of ingredients on my Poseidon was a minimum of 50% smaller and I couldn’t even taste the meat because the mustard overpowered the entire sandwich and I had to choose that to be added in order to put it in the cart on Uber eats.I am truly saddened and feel like I lost a good friend all I can say is I feel empty from this experience and you lost an extremely dedicated and life long customer by cutting corners and making changes.
