It’s 2024, yet this place proudly displays a confederate flag to the right of the bar and as one of the first things when you walk in. Carol has every right to do this, however, I have every right to find it repulsive and that’s why I turned around. That flag represented the party that wanted to hold onto slavery, was a symbol of segregation throughout the Civil Rights movement, and is used in the context of hate and racist groups still.
