I would like to say that the food here was really good. I very much enjoyed the food. That being said that's the only thing I could enjoy and to be honest it was hard to after what the service put me through. Upon arrival I was queried on my appearance. Innocently so for the most part from the younger server. After who appeared to be the "superior" she was shadowing came around that's when I was really singled out by the other server. We requested a table in a vacant part of the dinner first and foremost because of the initial reaction already sparked interest and attention of who was already there. When we were seated and after a continual interrogations of sorts we ordered and we're served. By the time I got to get to eat my French onion soup the bread was gone, cheese a puck, and was room temperature. Still good though. By this time my server had brought two other servers over to view my appearance and comment on my features. When my boyfriend and I were served our food our server brought out three other workers from the back. A cook, a hand (I think) ,and a bus boy. All the time " apologizing" to keep interrupting us for them to gawk at me. By the time we finished our meals I was just humiliated by this woman in front of a very aware restaurant.
In short. The food was good. Service was horrible and entirely unprofessional.
I will not be returning. Which is sad. I...
Read moreCame here on a Saturday morning. It was pretty busy, and a lot of people came in with huge parties. Fortunately, I was here to place a to-go order.
Upon entering, it's a pretty warm and cozy vibe. I was helped right away, and the lady was super nice and helpful in picking what to order.
While waiting, they have little old-school sticker machines and toys that you pay .50 - $1 for. It just brought back memories as a kid. Selection isn't the same, but it just brought me back.
I ordered:
Dad's Breakfast sandwich - the sandwich had a thick slice of ham, thick bacon, and cheese topped with an over medium egg. It was a messy perfection. It hit the spot.
Corn beef hash and eggs - So simple but delicious. I liked that it didn't come with the fancy chopped bell peppers and onions on everything. It was definitely what I needed. Surprisingly, I finished it all. The potatoes and corn beef hash was perfectly seasoned that i didn't need to add ketchup or tapatio.
French Toast - We didn't eat it until we got home, and it was fire. Their syrup was amazing as well. The bread was fluffy and not overly eggy.
Pancakes - just like the French toast, it did not disappoint
If I am ever in the area, I would definitely want to come back....
Read moreI'm Very Disappointed! I've been in this place like 12 times. The usual waitress were not there today. I asked for the meat lovers scramble the waiter didn't understand me he had to go get a menu a d I pointed to what I wanted. I asked to have vegetables added to to it like I always do. The waiter did not understand me he got my order wrong. So he took it back and brought it back and it was wrong again. The owner came to my table and he was notably mad. He asked me not in a nice way what was wrong. I was embarrassed because everyone could hear him. So I said that it was okay I'd prefer not to eat so I got up and left. As I was on my way out he followed me out mad telling me that don't come back that I always do that. This is the first time I ever returned anything. He proceeded to say in a loud voice I don't need your business. Even when I didn't say a word to anyone on my way out. Someone like this shouldn't own a business. He obviously doesn't know how to control his anger! I really liked this place but after this I won't return or wouldn't recommend anyone else...
