I signed up for google for the first time just to leave this review.
The was the oddest restaurant experience my family has ever had together.
After seeing the other reviews and wanting a taste of Italy after a 900 mile RoadTrip, we met family here for dinner.
Delicious food but with only two tables being seated on the dinner side (table of 4 and our table of 9) it took staff an hour and a half to get our dinner to our table.
(2 chicken Marsala’s, 1 lasagne, 1 Lobster ravioli, 1 penne Vodka, 1 spaghetti, 2 other noodles based dishes)
Just like the other table who openly got irate with staff and served before our table who arrived first (No biggie) our 5 year old asked the waiter if everything was “Ok,” because it took so long. Not once did we receive an update and was told “it’s because we make everything fresh by our waitress.”
There is a reason why your dinner side only sat two tables from 6 to 8:30 pm. Your pizza side may have been busy (even had local PD there so you know the food is good).
I can’t deny the food wasn’t bad. I’ve definitely had better in my travels in the northeast that I observed made “fresh,” with 10x as many seated tables much faster. I have cooked the same meals at home and know how long it takes these meals too cook.
I hope the owner/operators of this restaurant reads this and looks into their dinner side. I hope this isn’t the reason why it’s empty and why our experience was less than desired.
Your staff member saying, “Well Food was good, isn’t it!? and “it takes this long because we cook everything fresh.” Isn’t going to cut it for the future of your dinner service.
I still tipped 20%,didn’t yell, and make a scene like the other table but I feel something needed to be said further.
Good luck to this restaurant and good luck to anyone trying this restaurant. Family swears this is a fluke but man... two...
Read moreI wish I could give -5 stars. I’m going to make this brief because we had about a five year relationship with this company ordering 3 to 5 times a week deliveries and pick ups walked to get a chicken Parm sub and was never asked, or advised that they have a special for the day of a 7 inch Philly cheesesteak with a soda and chips. Rude attitude from the game. Mind you. Then ordered our whole chicken Parm sandwich and an order of I believe it was three meatballs and was charged about $23 when I went to pay I had realized that I left my default debit card at home and I only had a $20 bill on me but being that I walked with my girlfriend all the way, I asked the cashier can I give you this 20 and when I get home I will call you back with the card number to pay for the remaining $3 balance? Embarrassed as well that I had to even ask in a very condescending tone I was told no she will not do that for me. Now mind you the owners of this establishment are usually amazing. I had the one guy even sent me home with a full $35 dinner and let me call the next day and pay them back because we are so often in the establishment. I have never been more embarrassed in my life and I hope to God they do some thing about us. We came in around 3 o’clock...
Read moreThe food was absolutely phenomenal! The reason I am not giving it the extra 2 stars is because of the young arrogant lady working the register. First of all, the lady whom carried herself very poorly would touch the money from multiple people with her bare hands and then go and put pizza in the oven without using any gloves. #1 rule in food service always wash your hands when changing stations. Second, she had hickeys on her neck which she noticebaly failed on covering it up with a scarf. Third, she rolled her eyes everytime you said something she did not want to hear. And because of her, she gave this pizzeria a not so good first time experience. However, the young man working beside her is a prime example of what workman characteristics should be, unlike the lady whom looked like she was ready to go get high from drugs (i work in the medical field, i know what junkies look like and how they act very well being that i deal with multiple of them...
