Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Bridge City

I ordered on-line and prepaid, arrived at 7:45pm to pick up my order. Kid at the drive through informed me that I won't get my pre-paid sides as they were out of them. When I asked for a different side...nope, out of them too. So I was stuck with 2 sides i didn't want. At the window I asked why are no other sides available at 8:00pm when you close at 11:00pm? The worker was frustrated and responded in a confrontational tone saying "we're short staffed and closing in 2 minutes". How the heck was i supposed to know that?!? I did not receive my large coke i pre-paid for, did not receive the sides i pre-paid for....if you can't deliver prepaid items, don't have them available for pre-pay!! Looking at these numerous bad reviews, the owner of this place needs to wake up! This is no way to run a business. You lost my $$. And im confident you'll end up losing everyone elses in this area sooner than later. Do better or close down. This Popeyes was pretty decent when it first opened, but it's fallen off hard. The past few times, the service has been mediocre, and they have always been out of one thing or another. The last trip we made, every time we asked for one thing, the lady on the speaker would shout rudely that they don't have it as if we should know. When asking for two 3pc tenders, they upsold us to 5pc. They didn't have any lemonade except the regular, and they didn't have frozen either. The chicken was rough, tough, and tasted wrong.

This place could be so much better. So far I've been there 3 times. Once it was very busy but slow. The second time I went inside because there was a line wrapped around to the street and I had ordered through the app. I get inside and the kid didn't have anything ready and forgot my sauces.
