La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza - Bridge City — Restaurant in Bridge City

I gave this 3 stars because that's how many times I've had their pizza and the 3rd time was a disappointment. ..the first time I met up with old coworkers for lunch ( we're retired ) ..I had a medium meat lovers pizza and salad...the salas w as just ok but the pizza was delicious ( cut in squares , lots of meat and really good crust ).. the 2nd. time I was out shopping and decided to stop by and get one to take home for hubbys and my lunch. ..again I got a medium meat lovers , again it was delicious...altho' I sat and waited for it about 25 minutes they didn't even offer me a glass of water while I waited.. the 3rd time I ordered a large meat lovers on the phone and hubby picked it up...it was such a disappointment ...it was cut in pie slices ( not squares ) hardly any meat and wasn't good at all...nothing like the medium meat lovers or Bubba pizza as they call it...didn't even look like it...it cost 18.00 and some change...which I wouldn't mind paying if it would have been good...Pizza Hut 10.99 meat lovers would have been better...this was last week and I wasn't going to post anything but it really was a...

I will never step foot in this restaurant again. The hours of operation for this business are stated on their website, and door from 11:00am to 10:00pm. I’m 4 months pregnant and had a craving for pizza, I made a mistake and walked into this restaurant for a sit down meal around 9:00pm only to be greeted from our waitress tossing the menus on our table. After we ordered a medium Bubba’s Brother pizza I noticed the kitchen staff putting together our pizza while shooting us dirty looks. But what topped the cake and quickly made it clear that we were not wanted there was when one of the older females SLAMMED the ice machine lid closed and looked right at me as she pretended to smile. We asked for our pizza to go even though it wasn’t closing time. Our pizza which had nothing on it that we ordered was so toasted it was almost burnt. If your establishment says open until 10:00 and you get customers in at 9:00 you should treat them the way you would want to be treated, not the way you treated us tonight. very unnecessary rudness and very unprofessional. So much for my pregnancy...

Hark! Attend, good sirs and gentle dames, whilst I dost recount a tale most delectable! Upon a fair eve, mine feet didst carry me to a house of great renown, where the humble pizza is fashioned with art and care. The air was rich with scents most divine—yea, the mingling of roasted crust, sweetly ripened tomato, and cheese that didst melt as snow upon a gentle morn.

Lo, the craftsman of mine repast, a worthy knave yclept Jeremiah, didst ply his trade with hands most deft. He spake little, yet his labor did sing louder than any minstrel’s tune! With careful hand did he lay upon the dough a sauce most rich, neither too sharp nor too tame, and o’er it didst he scatter cheese of heavenly texture, melted to a golden hue. Each morsel was a sonnet upon mine lips, each bite a ballad to mine soul!
