Bob Evans — Restaurant in Bridgeport

I called at 6pm to place a carryout order for 8pm. When I arrived it was 7:50pm, by the time I got my order it was 8:20pm. What was the point of even making a carryout order if it wasn't ready? Instead of leaving work right away and grabbing my dinner, I had to wait 30 minutes for an order that should have already been finished and ready. When I asked about my order the first time ( I waited 10 minutes), the woman handling my order ( Aubrey ) said " sorry it will be a few mins" well those minutes turned into more minutes. When I asked again, she walked into the back to talk to manager and was gone for awhile. When she came back again, all she could say was sorry. I wasn't compensated for my time or my wait and on top of that, no one could explained or bother to tell me that my order wasn't even worked or started on. While she was nice, her lack of communication was terrible. While the food was good, the service was terrible and I will not be back to this location. If you want better service and a better experience, you're better off driving to st clairsville or wheeling. No one should have to wait half an hour for a carryout order, especially if...

I will not return here for a very long time if at all we don't go out to eat often but when we do it's nice we'll lastnight our experience sucked the waitress kept for getting everything wich is fine and understandable if you are busy it was not very busy in there at all another lady came in sat down next to us she was glancing through her menu wile talking to us the waitress came back over did not even give us time to eat asking if we needed boxes to go well by then I just said yes because I am tired of being rushed for what reason? Obviously I am paying for the food that I ordered as well as paying to dine in the lady acrost from us was still talking to us we start trying to get our food together and into a bag the waitress grabs our food and says well I was going to bag that for you for one I was not ready to just leave I was still eating then to continue to rush us out of there wile we was bagging our things we had three Children with us I am sorry I don't make my kids scarf their food down nor do we we were still pretty nice and gave a 10 dollor tip on top of her attitude but that did it in for us we will...

Our server was hands down rude and very unprofessional. Upon initially approaching our table, no greeting was made. She simply asked what we wanted to drink. When I asked for some additional creamers and sugars for my coffee, she took over 5 minutes and then didn't even bring any sugars. When making our order, she told my girlfriend that a substitution for bacon instead of a potato side could be made for a slight upcharge, but when she brought the check, an entirely additional charge of nearly $5.00 was added for bacon and bread, even though the meal came with a bread side already. When we spoke to the manager, he called my girlfriend a "liar", stating that "his server has worked there for 18 years and would never say that". This was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had in my entire life. I will never go back to this restaurant again and I would advise against anyone else going there either. Slow service, order mash-ups, and blatantly deliberate additional charges. Definitely not the great family friendly restaurant that I enjoyed several times...
