This place makes me sad. It's just down the road from our house, so I was hoping it would be good. We went in the first day or so of it being open. It was great! Unfortunately, they couldn't keep up with the demand and had to close for a few days. After they opened back up their food was completely different. It seems like they went from cooking to order to not cooking to order. The meat in my pho was tough and old among other things. We tried it a few more times to see if it was just a fluke. It was not a fluke. It's overpriced for what you get now. If it were the quality of the first day or so, it wouldn't be overpriced, but it's not.

Edit: I got take out, so I couldn't go back an get it replaced. Also, responding to a comment with "we don't serve tough meat" doesn't make the meat in my pho any easier to chew. It was tough which means it was either overcooked or old. Responding to comments like this really doesn't...

Yes, yes and yes. If you're reading this review, please just start heading to Hello Vietnam. You won't be disappointed.

I had the beef stew(two options; rice noodles or baguette), #1 bahn mi and the drip coffee. I've eaten at a lot of Vietnamese places throughout the country and I gotta say, this is place rates one at the top overall on service/food quality. The beef stew(spicy) was hardy, flavorful with tender beef and was beautifully plated. The bahn mi(xtra paté) was delish with his homemade pork belly with all the fixings. The drip coffee was not jittery strong but perfectly smooth and ease to drink on a hot summer day.

Charlie and his angels knows their food. I was told the majority of his ingredients comes locally!

If you're thinking about adventuring out and eating something from the SE Asian cuisine, this place is it. I wish James and his family much success...

My great experience started from the moment I walked in. They happily welcomed me which made me feel like a longtime friend. The menu had many delicious options of both food and drinks, so I told myself that I needed to come back again and again until I have ordered everything on that menu. They were so nice to (and patient with) me as I asked some questions. When I sat down, I enjoyed the art on the walls which I found out that they made themselves. It’s a beautiful, comfortable, and clean restaurant. Also noteworthy is that the wait time was short and their customer service was excellent. I give them a 5 star rating for outstanding customer service, quality and tasteful food, comfortable atmosphere, beautiful ambiance, and great location. Excellent work! Thank you,...

I travel for work and have been living in areas where there’s no authentic Vietnamese cuisine around. I thought Bridgeport would be the same but somehow I found this amazing gem! Their drip coffee is so good and made to perfection. I’m from houston so I know my Vietnamese coffee. The pho has lots of authentic flavors even my husband liked it and he’s picky. The Banh mi bread is soft and crunchy with a good amount of mayo and pate. If you crave Vietnamese food, this place will hit the spot

Don’t skip this place if you are around. Simply decorated, the restaurant offers excellent food and friendly staff. Upon entering, I couldn’t decide between the pho and the bun mi. Lucky enough to, they had a combination option that allowed me to enjoy both worlds:). The pho was flavorful and the bun mi (roast pork with some jalapeño) was fantastic. The bun is not as large as other places may offer, so the food does not feel too heavy, but it is crispy and yummy. Recommended!
