T & L Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Bridgeport

I went there today shortly after noon. Used a credit card to order through drive thru, I ordered 3 sides of ranch and was charged 2.97 for them. They were not given to me along with the food I ordered. I called in to have my name written down(maiden name used because I haven't updated Google yet with the correct name listed on my ID to ensure if they asked I would have it ready to provide) I told them I couldn't come back until the afternoon. I have proof of this call in my call log. When I eventually arrived back at approximately 10 til 5 this evening, I returned the food I couldn't eat without the ranch, and asked for a refund of the 6 dollar food (I ate the rest I ordered and did NOT ask for a full refund, just the returned food, and the 3 dollar sides of ranch). The manager told me she had no idea what I was talking about and that I hadn't spoken with a manager when I called in shortly after noon. I told her I had paid with a credit card and provided the credit card along with the time I was there as proof of my visit along with the food from earlier that I hadn't eaten. She asked what was wrong with the food I wanted a refund for, when I told her it was because I couldn't eat it without the ranch I had ordered, she told me that she couldn't refund my money for the food, just the ranch. I asked her why, and was informed that it doesn't COME with ranch, so there was nothing wrong with it, and she couldn't return my money. I told her when I order ranch with something, that now means it comes with ranch, so that yes there was something wrong with it. When I asked to speak to the manager, she told me she was a manager and would not provide a store managers name, but did agree to return the cash. I do not feel that I should have had to deal with her rude behavior, nor explain to her my eating habits when I returned the food UNTOUCHED, and even gave proof that I had been there, and if she had felt the need to ask I could have and still can provide evidence of the call I made shortly after noon with my complaint. In order to put things in perspective for you, we were out enjoying a day at the park, and we live all the way in FAIRMONT, we were halfway back when I realized I didn't have what I needed after a stop at the gas station. My parents had an issue with my mother's meal and because I was treated poorly to replace it, I became as petty as the person working there and posted negative reviews, myself and family members. It was unfair and I wish we hadn't because as soon as the owner that was working hard all day, became aware, he addressed it. So kindly too. My parents have enjoyed hundreds of meals at this establishment and that's what I should have posted. Hurt people hurt people, so shame on me too. Stopped in here for a quick bite traveling from Beckley to Pgh as I haven’t had them since I was younger- same location same great taste. 2 coney dog meals reasonably priced. I asked for extra onion and there was barely any onion and I requested cheese for the first meal and the drive thru cashier didn’t add it.
