Tried the Bridgeport location for the first time today. I ordered lunch. I got a 16 oz cold brew with almond milk and sugar free caramel. I also ordered the caprese panini. Total came to just under 15.00, which was okay because I have been wanting a caprese panini for a while since Panera took it off their menu and Starbucks never has them. I ordered online for pick up, navigating their website was decently easy so that is a plus. When I got there to pick up my order, there were 4 employees so I was glad the service would be decently quick. I received my order a few minutes late but I didn’t really care because I was not in a huge rush, just off to work for the day. I got my coffee first and it was really good, I sipped on it while I waited. Normally when you get cold brew with things added to it, it is bland, but this one was good. I got the panini a couple minutes later and wasn’t sure what to expect for over 8.00. I thought I would just get the panini. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and there was also chips and ranch in there ( it may be good to specify that when ordering. I could have missed it though.). I was glad that they included that. My pleasant surprise quickly turned to disappointment however because 1.) when I went to put the side of balsamic vinegar on my panini, the tomatoes were cut so thick (at least 1.5 to 2 inches thick) that when I went to eat my sandwich it was a slip and slide and got all over my shirt and face. 2.) I didn’t get any napkins, but it could have been a beginners mistake as they may have been on the counter for me to pick up myself. 3.) before I even bit into the thing, there was hair crusted into some of the cheese on the outside of the panini. I picked it off and went on about my day, because I really didn’t wanna wait another 10 minutes for another one. It kind of was a let down unfortunately. For 15.00 I could have went somewhere familiar and had the quality I expected. Employees weren’t over friendly, but they were ok in attitude. Coffee was ok. Just wish it...
Read moreRarely do I post reviews unless I’ve had an exceptionally positive or negative experience somewhere and I have genuinely had nothing but negative experiences at this location. I love their coffee and their food, however, I have been met with some of the worst customer service I’ve literally ever had to deal with. As a fellow business owner, it’s so wildly unprofessional to me how they have handled my experiences. The 1st time I tried to order a milkshake online and they told me they were closing in an hour so they couldn’t make me one even though I had already paid for it and acted like they had no idea what to do when I asked for a refund or a substitution. Like an HOUR before closing and you’re just done? Ok I let that one slide….there have been more, l but my most recent experience was when I went to use my rewards I had earned from still continuing to support their store (don’t ask me why), the app glitched and deleted all my stars and when I called to ask if they would still honor my free drink, the MANAGER of the store said there’s absolutely nothing they could do. I mean are you serious? It took me TEN purchases to earn those stars, and you can’t even give me a voucher for a free drink? Seriously have never had a worst experience with a store that, despite all the negative experiences, I tried to continue to support. So much for...
Read moreI got one oat milk latte (it’s super annoying when people up charge for oat milk knowing that it’s the same cost if not cheaper as regular milk and almond milk) I also got two cinnamon rolls with icing these items were $15.52
In a separate purchase, I got a banana nut muffin. I don’t remember the cost but whatever it was was too much since the worst banana muffin I’ve ever had.
None of the bakes goods were good. Banana nut muffins or bread is one of my all-time favorite items and I get it almost everywhere I go. This is one of the worst banana muffins I have ever had and I couldn’t even finish it even though I’m a chunkie person that loves to snack. My husband and I both did not like our cinnamon rolls and wished we would’ve only bought him one to share as we wanted to throw them away once tasting. . . The coffee tasted like coffee but i swore that I said small that was not a small cup and again it’s annoying when you up charge for milk that doesn’t cost any more. I also overheard them say a slice of cake was more than $10 and an entire small carrot cake was $50 not that I’m saying I take isn’t worth $50 but if the pastries were any indication this is not the place to waste your money.
Overall I will not be going back. I do not recommend. Also, parking is very difficult for...
