My fiance and I went into Vazzys for lunch in search of dinner for our upcoming wedding. We were greeted by the most wonderful people, Johny the owner, Cindy our server and Krissy who is in charge of catering. The hospitality and warmth and friendliness and help we got was really incredible and not of anything we have ever experienced before. After talking with Krissy we were given the most generous amounts of food to try. Everything we tasted was so delicious and we knew immediately this was the restaurant we were going with. The chicken marsala, chicken scarpiello, stuffed bread, meatballs, mashed, bread vegetable are recommended! Fresh, juicy and truly just authentic Italian food. We are really hard people to impress when it comes to food and we left full, satisfied and so happy to have this crossed off our list. We are having a cook come to make some filet mignon and everything is being delivered and taken care of. I'll leave another review after that date. They aim to please and go above and beyond.
My sister ordered catering to go for my mother's 80th birthday and asked me to pick it up yesterday. Our pick up time was 1:15 PM. I got to the restaurant went to the back and paid the cashier and she told me to go back out and wait in my vehicle and they will bring it out to me. Our bill came to $275. After waiting for 20 or 25 minutes I went back into the restaurant. This time another cashier was there and said my food was right here on the table. I got home and we opened the food by this time it was cold, so we put it in the oven. I don't normally like to slam restaurants, but this was the worst food that I ever had. The fried calamari was soggy and rubbery, the penne, alla vodka; there must've been about a half a cup of sauce in the entire tray, and it was tasteless. The roast beef was dried out. There was some kind of garlic bread made from pizza crust that had no flavor and was tough and chewy. The only thing that tasted decent was the eggplant Parmesan. I believe it was the responsibility of the first cashier who told me to wait in my vehicle as to why the food was bad. She never followed through. It sat in the restaurant too long. And if I had a choice, I would have put all the food back in my vehicle and brought it back to the restaurant and asked for my money back but we had people that were hungry, so I had no choice but to serve it. It's been many years since I've been to this restaurant and I remember always having good food there. I don't think I would ever go back...

We mentioned our intention to sample the food for potential catering, and the owner introduced us to Kristine. She was fantastic—she brought out samples of various menu items and thoroughly explained the entire process. The food was so delicious that we didn't need to look any further; we booked their services within days.
