The experience was horrible all the way around, from the girl who took our order and the drive thru, she didn't not seem pleased with our special request, i.e.; plain cheeseburger, or cheese on the fries, not crazy requests! The girl pouring the drinks did not mark them in any way, so we had no why of telling which of the three was a diet. When the young man came back to the window with our food, I attempted to hand back the tray, explaining that we didn't know which one was diet. The young man told the girl, who was visible in the window, twisted her face in disgust, as if it was an incovienence for her to actually do her job correctly. I am still holding the tray, out of the window, as she has words with young man, as if it's somehow his fault for giving us the drinks that were at the window, ready to be served. I am still holding the tray. She approches the window and says, "What, you don't want any of them?" I say, I would like to know which one, if any, is diet? She replies, "I'm pretty sure of them is diet." I'm still holding the tray out the window as I ask how we are supposed to know which one?, so she just randomly takes one of the three, and replaces it with diet. So now we have one marked diet, and two mystery drinks. My bf starts tasting the two mystery drinks, and realizes the girl picked the wrong drink. We tell the young man, who has returned to the window with our food, that she replace the wrong one, we had ordered to regular cokes. Now is clearly written all over her face that she is inconvenienced, as she pours another regular coke, not dawning on her that the regular coke was still in front of the window and all she had to do was give it back. We finally have all three of the correct drinks, I politely say thank you, I was very polite throughout the entire transaction, and we leave. We get home and the cheeseburger, that we ordered plain, was inedible because it had ketchup all over it, and the small cups containing cheese, were only filled 1/4 of the way. We paid almost $30 for the two edible cheeseburgers, three cold fries without...
Read moreThe worst fast food place in CT. Even at non peak hours you'll be lucky to get your food from the drive thru in under 30 minutes. If you go during lunch or dinner times expect an hour wait for the drive thru if you can even get in. When the line of cars gets too long it's impossible to even get in the parking lot and the line starts spilling into the intersection of a main road.
If you're lucky enough to get inside the employees will ignore you while they gossip about personal problems and complain about how they don't like thier jobs.
I deliver with GrubHub and this is the only restaurant I decline orders from. There have been multiple times where I can see the completed order behind the counter but the employees ignore me making the delivery take 10 to 20 minutes longer than it could have been.
There was an employee standing at the counter that wouldn't even look at me when I was trying to ask about an order I was picking up. I put my phone on the counter so they could see the name and they just walked away. I ended up standing around in the store for 10 more minutes for an order that was already done. This has happened more than once.
It would be better if this location was shut down. I care about this store the same amount that the employees care...
Read moreAfter reading many reviews about the managers at this Wendy's location I am happy to announce that not all managers are the same. Currently there is a Taesha. Strong, fast as lightning, attentive, friendly, knows how to delegate responsibility as well as carry her own weight. Now I don't care for Wendy's food because they do not add tomatoes, onions etc to their burgers like Burger King. I was there for their Baked potato and chili. Now back to Taesha. The joint was packed. Taesha turned the line into a parade skillfully as Tom Brady. People were in and out in minutes. I was amazed and at that moment I decided to frequent this Wendy's more often. Thanks Taesha I hope the owner reads this and appreciates everything you do. FYI: I never met Taesha before. I am not a friend, relative or...
