My boyfriend and I are long time SUPER FANS of Sugar Cane, until they were permanently closed down during Covid that is… Tonight was the first time we decided to try ordering delivery since they “re-opened” and then became available on DoorDash. We found out they re-opened a few months ago, but we’re skeptical as we knew for certain that the Sugar Cane we knew and loved while living in Bridgewater had definitely closed down… The food that arrived here was 100% NOT the same, or even a close representation of the old SC we were used to. Our greatest fear was confirmed, there is no way the management who was passionate, artistic, and committed to their craft are the ones who made our meal tonight. I’m incredibly confused how the reviews are almost all positive, as if you had ever gone to SC before the shut down, you would be crushed by this food let down too. The photos on the website and their Door Dash page show something entirely different the quality of the food we got tonight. I’m not sure if Sugar Cane was re-opened with new management or their name was ripped off by a whole new company all together, but if you are someone who loved SC as much as we did 2+ years ago, DO NOT order delivery at the very least. Maybe dining in will be a better experience, though I can’t imagine it would make up for the major difference in quality and taste. We were truly heartbroken when SC had to close down thank to the over zealous, tyrannical leaders who forced thousands of small business to close their doors permanently. But it almost saddens me more to know someone else has taken their name and the faithful base of customers they acquired, and essentially done a bait and switch. Very, very sad.

HORRIBLE!! We just ordered to since we are visiting here. I specifically said NO peanuts since this dish was ordered for my kids. It was hard to separate the peanuts even though they were on top it was still kinda mixed in the Pad Thai. My kids must have eaten 3 or 4 spoonfuls of the dish and rest went in the trash. I'm not pleased about that since my kids were really hungry and they were looking forward to it. My dish was made per request. They landed the entire jar of chili flakes but there was NO FLAVOR in the food at all! The chicken tasted very chewy. My husband ordered the Teriyaki combo and he barely ate his food. VERY Disappointing!!!

Cute little gem in a small strip plaza down the road from Bridgewater State University. Visiting my daughter at school, my son and I asked her where she'd like to go for dinner. She did a little web browsing and found SugarCane. A short ride from the school and we were there. While there were plenty of Thai dishes to choose from, we were happy to see that the menu was very much Asian fusion. So we were able to span some of our favorites in one sitting. The food overall was really nice taking into account the multi disciplined styles required for the menu. The service was very good and the presentation of the food was pretty. We all agreed that we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely like to come back again. It's a nice little find and a perfect spot for Bridgewater students looking for something that's probably not on the menu at the dining hall. If anything is, it won't be as good as...

I use to love this place so much! We loved to go there because of the people who worked there. 2 months ago my friend got me a gift card for $50 as a thank you gift. They didn't say they were changing management & the new manager won't accept the gift card & was extremely rude to me & my friend. I went down there & left my name & number & now they won't accept my phone call or message on Facebook. I think its extremely rude as the management to handle this situation this way. You pretty much stile my friends money. She is 80 yes old, you should be ashamed! Like I said, this place use to be absolutely amazing in everyday until the new management showed up & now its nothing but rude people who don't want to help at all. I wish I could speak to the old management e abuse they were so nice, respectful & always a pleasure to see. I won't step foot in that place because of how rude that...
