Three Rivers Roundup — Restaurant in Bridgewater

I'll preface my review by saying I realize these folks have only been open for a week. The kitchen and wait staff are still learning. I'm sure a lot of the little quirks will get ironed out in weeks to come. I will definitely come back and give it another shot in a month or two.

That said here goes my constructive criticism.

Atmosphere, very open and while brightly painted and inviting felt a little sterile. Maybe a little bit of artwork or decorative touches. Some aspects like the bathroom felt a bit worn down from previous years gone by. I understand cost and wear and tear, but cleaning windows and mirrors doesn't cost much. You know what they say about first impressions.

All the staff we interacted with was very friendly.

When it comes to the menu I wasn't sure what to expect since no prices published online yet.

Overall slightly higher than expected for the area and overall atmosphere. I'm one of those that has to have a beer or two with dinner. $8 for a pint of every day decent beer is a little on the higher side.

Food was only a little higher than what I'm accustomed to. Upper twenties for a steak with sides.

I had the salmon with fries and rice. Fries and rice was good, salmon had really good seasoning on it but a bit smaller portion than I had envisioned. Granted I'm used to full thinner filets than a smaller but thicker piece. Another in our party had the steak which came out well done instead of rare. (Before it continued to cook). Seasoning was good though.

All of us in the group had food come out 5-10 minutes apart. I understand this is the kitchen getting used to things though.

Had a bit of a mix up with the checks but our server worked with the manager to correct things.

We'll definitely give you guys another visit after you get rolling a bit.

had reservations for my birthday at 6 for a party of 5. I was able to get my beer. But the rest of my family ordered margaritas. They didn’t have the stuff to make it And came back 20 minutes later to tell us. The poor bartender had to leave tending bar to let us know About the drinks because the waitress never went to the bar to retrieve them. Another 20 minutes later came back to tell us they don’t have the other ingredients. Yet it was on their menu. Apparently, the bartender did not have keys to the liquor cabinet. 45 minutes sitting there, we never received any drinks besides my beer. We did get our appetizer however the server accidentally spilled beer on the chips and after 20 minutes, we never got more chips. the food dips we got were delicious. I just wanted to get a hot rock for my birthday and we ended up leaving before we got our food due to having more plans that evening and not knowing if we wouldn’t even get our food or drinks. There was only four other tables there at the time. it seems very unorganized And the staff was very rude about us, leaving despite and never receiving drinks...

We were very disappointed. The interior looked like a lunchroom, very open and plain with no decoration/tex mex vibe. We sat on the back deck, which is lovely. Ordered 2 margaritas and 2 apps. First drink came, tasted like a sours mix. Couldn’t taste any tequila. Apps came. Old, possibly spoiled. Guac was dark/tasteless, salsa tasted like tomato paste and cheese was a strange texture. The chips were cold and stale. I am posting a pic from another review from last week and a pic I took of the same app. No filters were used. Then the 2nd drink FINALLY came, it was worse than mine. Tasted like sunny d with sours mix. At $14 I expect a drink to be great. We didn’t consume much, got the check and left. $55 mistake. I am aware that this is a newer restaurant and mistakes happen. But the quality of items was low. Drink took too long. The prices were too high. I wish them well. They have the location now they just need the product and...
