I went inside the cafe and ordered at the counter. The drive through was extremely busy, as it was Thanksgiving. One group in line in front of me ordered 3 drinks and 1 pastry. After this, I ordered 2 grande beverages. The group in front of me received all the items 8 minutes after ordering. As I continued to wait I could see that there were lots of online orders, but no other cafe orders after me. I also noticed that there were 7 people on staff, but only one barista at the hot bar making drinks. After waiting 14 full minutes I asked one of the baristas about my 2 drink order. She apologized and said the wait was due to so many online orders. I told her how long I had been waiting and how the group before me had picked up all their items and left over 6 minutes before. She apologized again and said the drinks were coming up next. I waited another 6 minutes and finally got my drinks after waiting a full 20 minutes. On top of the wait, one of the drinks was luke warm, where as the other drink was piping hot. I understand that Thanksgiving is a very busy day, and there are lots of online orders, but nobody should wait 20 minutes for 2 hot drinks ordered from the...
Read moreLike all Starbucks, when the location is brand new, they have great service and then the level of service deteriorates over time. At this location it happened very quickly. Yesterday I ordered an americano with vanilla and cream. I didn't think to check their work on a coffee at a price point that dictates that it should be perfect everytime. No big deal, mistakes get made. Today I asked them to "make it right", and the boy at the drive thru window obviously was not trained to satisfy a customer who had been wronged (when I was a partner we had a "just say yes" policy) . I wound up paying for my americano after a rude exchange (very common in Colorado, the level of service through out the state is subpar and dismissive compared to more civilized states). Avoid this location and Starbucks in general. If you think Starbucks swill is at all representative of good coffee/espresso, especially at the price they charge; you need to go out of your way to places who respect both the product and the customer. Included is a pic of the policy printed on the cup that they refuse to honor, and the ticket of...
Read moreI have only been to this location a few times but when I went there this morning, my husband ordered an Americano with 3 equal at the drive through. When we got to the window he asked for 2 more equal, just in case and the girl running the window was excellent, and started to get us 2 more. The issue is, Loretta (maybe a supervisor), began to correct the girl at the window saying "you need to be asking how many they want when they order it" and she was very rude about it. The employee was very professional about it but Loretta was out of line verbally correcting the employee loud enough for the customers in the drive through to hear it. I told her that it was not her fault, it was ours for asking for the additional sweetening packets, and told Loretta that she did not need to talk to that employee that way. As a person who works in customer service, I would never talk to my employees this way. She needs to be re-trained on how to communicate with her employees/co-workers. I wish I had gotten the name of the other employee because she really was excellent and deserves...
