I really don't like leaving less than stellar reviews, as I'm not one to complain I'm really not.. but this location has messed up my order too many times and I mean, you know, it's really expensive coffee. Especially when you get customizations like I do. And it just keeps getting messed up.
I'm not mad or anything it's not that big of a deal, but it is a lot of money to spend on a drink that turns out almost undrinkable. Like for example they never give me extra topping which I always request (I do my orders on mobile ahead of time to make it easier for them, that way they just have to read the order... And I do understand my order can be kind of obnoxious as I have some customizations I like to do). And if it was just missing the extra topping that would be fine, it wouldn't really bother me. But like today instead of giving me extra topping they put extra Carmel sauce, and that is just WAY too much sauce, I can't even drink it 😭
I mean, it's not THAT bad it's just way too sweet. This has happened a few times too. Like way more drizzle than I asked for, or way more sauce. And I'm only writing a review because I can't get ahold of customer service either. Again it's not that big of a deal and I love my Starbucks drink, but I feel like if I've ordered several drinks between like $9-$13 that I couldn't even really drink without hurting my stomach, it would be nice to get like a gift card or one free drink or something.
I dunno man, I feel bad.. I am NOT the kind of person who's always looking for free stuff or whatever. But spending $10 or $13 on a drink multiple times and basically just losing that money is kinda ridiculous. And apparently Starbucks corporate has awful customer service. I've never had trouble contacting customer service for any company like I've had trouble with them. I don't think they care at all.
I really don't blame the workers, I blame workers being overworked and underpaid and probably understaffed etc, because corporations only care about profits. And Starbucks seems to be one of the worst offenders honestly. Didn't they prevent their workers from unionizing?? Hey Starbucks maybe like... Don't do that. Maybe hire enough people and pay your people enough to give a damn what they're doing. When you charge freakin $13 for a large coffee with a few shots of espresso I think you can afford to pay your employees a living wage.

Today I purchased two lattes... the four staff members were very unfriendly and the coffee tasted terrible. I asked the barista to add syrup to mine because it didn't taste good. She added syrup but she had her back to me the whole time as she continued her personal conversation with the other three workers. There was no apology or checking to make sure that it tasted better, they all continued to talk to each other like I did not exist. I take food/customer service very seriously and I will not be back. As a former barista I can tell you these people don’t know how to make anything. They pull shots before they start the milk (big NO NO) this is why the espresso drinks are ALWAYS bitter. They have literally NO idea what “light ice” means for any drink. This store has been open long enough and these employees should know how to do their jobs by now. Today I decided I was friend of getting a cup full of ice and sent the refresher back- the guy at the window was SO mad. Slammed the drive through window and everything.
