I'm not sure why this place has a low review score of 3.9 at the time of this review, but I was actually impressed. It's rare that I can come to a hotel bar/restaurant and get really good gluten-free dishes. I had the Brick Chicken, and although the chicken was a little over done, the dish as a whole was very good. The wine list looks decent. I had an Old Fashioned and it was done well. I wouldn't really suggest the Whitecap if you're looking for a decent meal. It has a limited menu and sub sized portions for the average bear. I ordered the Steak Frites which is literally a few pieces of meat and some Sysco bagged fries topped off with mayonnaise and some ketchup for dipping. I would compare this to get a steak at a concert or the ball game. $40 and its yours! Going going gone...to...

The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor, easily one of the best I’ve had at a hotel restaurant. The fries were crisp and golden, and paired great with a cold beer.
