So I've ordered from this location 3 times now since they've opened, and I've gotta be honest. I've been disappointed every single time. I kept wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, because I've had some great pizza from other Domino's locations in the past.
Most consistently is the pizza has been oversauced and undercooked every single time, even when I was sure I marked well done the last two times when I thought it would solve the problem from the first time. So you know when you pick up a slice, looks decent on top and then you take a bite and you get undercooked center with too much sauce, it's kind of disgusting. My latest order included a brownie-cookie thing, it seemed burnt on the edges and undercooked in the middle.
My previous order included Bacon Jalapeno Stuffed Cheezy Bread and there was no bacon or jalapenos, They did re-deliver a correctly made cheezy bread for me that time, so that was a plus; but coupled with the undercooked pizza it was a buzzkill night.
So tonight, I decided to give them another try... last time was a busy snowy night, tonight is probably slow due to COVID. Bust.
I am not normally one to complain a lot, as I said... I've now given them 3 chances... but a man can only take so much pizza disappointment.
0 for 3, I will not be ordering again.
Edit: I talked to some friends tonight who haven't experience these same issues at this location. The big difference was they order pizza with standard tomato sauce. I've been ordering the Philly Cheese Steak pizza and tonight a garlic parm sauce pizza. Perhaps this location just needs to stick to the tomato sauces, or ask for help from some surrounding locations as to how to properly sauce and cook pizzas using the...
Read moreI love Dominos however, the Orchard location in Oswego has become very disappointing. Last month I was unable to order online so I called during their open hours and they’re phone lines said they were closed. 3 weeks ago we ordered over the phone and the entire experience was ridiculous. I said delivery and she put it in for pick up, I told her I would pay with card and she hung up on me before taking my card number. I waited over an hour, called back and they said it was ready for pick up. Got it switched to delivery but I was given cold pizza. I ordered tonight and when the pizza came I had a smashed in pizza, cheese stuck to the top of the box and ripped the top of the pizza off, the Parmesan bread bites were swimming in oil (might as well have been bread bites soup), and the cheese marinara dip is burnt. I tried to call and their phone lines are not accepting calls. I called the number on the bottom of the receipt and the woman put me on hold to call the location and then hung up on me, the best part is she didn’t even ask me what location it was. I get things are tough right now and they might be short staffed but seriously, this is unacceptable and shows poorly on owners and management. DO ANY MANAGERS WORK OR IS IT FEND FOR YOURSELVES. Do they just decide to shut off the phones so they don’t have to actually work. I really wish 0 stars...
Read moreAfter a few times of ordering at this location, I’ve come to the conclusion that I will not be coming back to this one. I will drive an extra 15 minutes to another location to make sure I get what I paid for.
I always order a pizza with extra toppings. Nothing crazy, but literally every time I order a pizza it does not look like extra toppings were added. The topping amount is the regular amount if not less, so I’m done going here. I started going to other nearby Dominoes locations, and my same order looks like a completely different pizza because they actually give me the extra toppings I paid for.
They’re also skimping on the cheesy crust pizza. The cheese in the crust is so thin, you can barely tell it’s there. Anywhere else, there’s so much cheese in the crust it’s another meal.
Dominoes, please stop skimping on your food. It’s very obvious and will lose you...
