Bristol Cafe & Market is the epitome of “hidden in plain sight”. Nestled along the volunteered parkway its unimposing facade presents not flashy or eye catching. Instead, it presents as just another delicatessen that could go either way. However, if you are in the mood for something beyond the usual greasy and barely flavored fare found along the parkway, get ready for quite the adventure! When you enter you will be greeted by the friendliest restaurant staff in the Tri-Cities. The welcoming demeanor is substantive enough to take you back to the good old days when customers where family and friends, not just numbers. The atmosphere is that of a family kitchen filled with mouthwatering smells and hunger enticing phrases scribbled across their plentiful menu board. As for the food, there in lies one of the best kept secrets in Bristol. With an offering that caters to everyone, their menu is voluminous and well thought out for something unique in the area. I can’t give high enough praise to the mouth watering French dip or the Reuben sandwiches. The roast beef on the French dip is flavorful, moist, and well paired with a perfect amount of horseradish and cheese wrapped safely in a brioche bun that has the slightest crisp on the outside, while maintaining a gentle and moist texture inside. One you bathe the sandwhich in the comfortably warm beef broth and take the first bite, you will be transported to the same feeling you had eating Thanksgiving dinner as a child. With regard to the Reuben, the mound of corned beef covered in fresh kraut and bathed in a Russian or Thousand Island style dressing creates a savory filling contained in a perfectly toasted rye bread. Pair either with the homemade bacon ranch tri colored pasta, or the unfathomably delicious macaroni and cheese and you will have your own piece of heaven on earth. If the fresh and flavorful fare disappear and leave you with a smidgeon of room, I would recommend the pecan pie or homemade strawberry moose…. Oh, I almost forgot,...

5 stars aren't enough. I called and spoke with Megan on Thursday evening for catering service on Friday evening. Super last minute, and I was stressed about it. Not only was she amazingly helpful and informative, she was also kind and gracious enough to laugh at my bad jokes. She sent me the menu over email, provided pricing based on what we wanted for how many people we needed, and went above and beyond, even staying passed closing time to respond because I was in a Dr's appointment with my 2 year old. The day of pickup, her husband and another very nice gentleman helped me pay and got everything into my van, and they were exceptionally nice to me and my son, even offering us drinks on the house because it was so hot outside. The food was absolutely delicious and they even included the warming set up and burners with the meal. And the portion sizes? Not only did they feed our crowd, with many getting seconds, but we were able to send food home. My very picky eater devoured the gouda Mac and cheese, and while I normally do not like ham, I can't explain how scrumptious the sweet mustard glaze was. The sweet potato Cassarole was in fact the dinner winner, with compliments from everyone there. I will not be ordering catering from anyone else in the future, and will continue to enjoy our regular meals there as well! Thank ya'll so much for making this so much less stressful and for just being good people! 10 out of 10,...

The Bristol Cafe is a truly an amazing place to eat. I have been multiple times within the last year. My favorite sandwhich is "the reuben". You can't go wrong with the country club either. They offer different deviled eggs as an add on to your order as well as pickle spears(which are awesome). The bacon jalapeño deviled egg is my favorite. The Cobb salad with ranch is awesome if your looking for something different. I also highly recommend the potato soup. Lastly, the bacon ranch pasta salad is a must try. You can go multiple times before you get to try all of the great things. This is my favorite lunch spot in Bristol and they have plenty of room. The staff a friendly and the facilities are clean. You are truly missing out if you haven't been yet. In my picture you can see the reuben, potato soup, and jalapeño/bacon...

Found this quaint small town deli on the way through town. Exceptional alternative to your standard fast food options. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants a family friendly and pleasant atmosphere while also getting an excellent well prepared and thoughtful meal. A lot of love goes into this place and it shows.
