Looking for a good breakfast spot while in Bristol? Then you should pay Snap's Restaurant a visit. It is a plain, tastefully decorated establishment located on the main drag in town. It has an "old-timey" feel about it with its decorations, old newspaper clippings and photos, and I particularly love the old embossed tin ceiling. It is an integral part of its character. On to the food. Not overly extensive in its selections the breakfast menu, aided by daily specials, offers your basic array of breakfast items, with an emphasis on a variety of Eggs Benedict (they love Hollandaise sauce). My wife had the Venison patty Benedict served on a bed of tater tots, of which I had a bite. It was delicious. The meat was not too gamey or dry, and seasoned just right. I had the aptly named wrap "All Wrapped Up". A mix of egg, bacon, sausage, caramelized onions, cheddar and chipotle mayo in a flour tortilla, grilled and served with homefries. The side of salsa that was supposed to come with it was omitted for some reason. It was very good but not great. A little seasoning in the eggs would've brought this wrap to the next level. The mimosas were perfect. All in all an enjoyable and recommended experience.

Absolutely one of those hidden holes in the wall that you would accidentally drive by in a small Vermont town. Ate during the morning rush. Lucy is one of the best waitresses I’ve ever seen. Looked like she was the only server on a busy morning. Never hesitated to make sure my coffee cup stayed full, and she didn’t missed a single beat with any request. They make their own corned beef and hash at Snap’s and it will probably be the best you’ll ever taste. Decent prices with large portions. Zero complaints, and if you’re touring the area it’s worth a stop. The design is nostalgic of what my small town dinner looked like when I was growing up in the Midwest.

“Eggs Benedict” is more like just whatever they feel like cooking… in this days case: hard boiled!! Woohoo!!! We have received multiple still cold from frozen burgers and heard “you didn’t cook the burgers again!” Being yelled to the staff while I was still on the phone. This place does not deserve a 4+ star rating, and hasn’t since the 2000s. I can’t count the number of issues and free meals we have been given as a result. This is the end of being quiet about it. Also, way overpriced. Takeout is always worse than dine-in by a noticeable amount (ex: half the fries/home fries etc)

This was the second and last time my family and I will visit this restaurant. The first time I went we arrived at 1136 and were told that breakfast wasn't available, when the menu states breakfast til 2. First time there I ordered a pastrami panini and it arrived barely cooked. As in the cheese INSIDE my hot sandwich was cold and unmelted... And before ordering I double checked to make sure that it was infact a hot sandwich. I was so sad to have this sad, cold sandwich plated for me.

Today is my birthday and I decided to try again, brought my husband, son, and land-mate to the restaurant. Food gets delivered and the only nearly hot food was the pancakes my son ordered and the omlette that was part of my husband's meal. My biscuits and gravy, home fries, and side of hash were barely warm and largely disappointing. My landmate got a breakfast sandwich and french toast, and the room temp butter we were given was unable to melt on his cold french toast, and his breakfast sandwich was also barely warm. I did mention to the waitress that our food was cold and she offered to heat it up for me.. no I don't want my food microwaved, I would like hot food presented when I order in an eat in setting.

My Vermont milkshake (vanilla ice cream, milk and maple syrup?) Had chunks of chocolate sauce in it. Chunks like they had dried to the blender and it wasn't properly cleaned between shakes. Totally put my...

Won’t come back. We were so excited for Sunday breakfast. We don’t ever get to go out and was coming home From a great weekend girls trip away! First we waited at the door waiting for someone to acknowledge us, understaffed and stressed out waiters and waitresses which was the first sign we should have left. Sat down and was offered drinks right away. Didn’t get silverware stir the coffee, when we asked for a spoon the waiter put it in my coffee. We order and as I watch table that were sitting way before us hadn’t gotten food I was starting to worry. The waiter brought out one scrambled egg and toast and one eggs Benedict with out hollandaise sauce so that went back . The other two orders didn’t come and while I waited for silverware and the other orders my food got cold. Meanwhile I’m watching the stressed out staffed and pissed off cook, a table across from us who still hadn’t got food was pissed we were getting ours before theirs which they were waiting way back while we were waiting to be seated. After I eat my cold food the last dishe never came, we left $20 on the table and walked out. It was the worst service, food and atmosphere I’ve ever had. They need a major change in staff to survive in the restaurant industry. I feel bad but that’s...
