Taverna Grill — Restaurant in Bristol

Me and my coworkers have been going to Taverna quite often recently to try the different things they have on their menu I'm talking at least 2 times a week occasionally more , all their food has been enjoyable. The girl who is doing takeout however is RUDE... Today we got 3 burgers and fries/onion rings meals and a salad... Asked for extra ketchup packets and told her if she needed to charge me extra to give me extra it wouldn't be a problem but she gave me a issue like she didn't want to give me extra.. Then came out with THREE ketchup packets.. On the phone I asked for Extra Blue cheese and told her if she needed to charge me extra no problem... I get there and I asked for more and I realized she didn't charge me so again I said if she needed to charge me no big deal, gave me a attitude and gave me the "blue cheese"... Get all the way back to work and she gave me TWO RANCH DRESSINGS which I can not eat.... Customer service is everything to me, and because of the fact I emphasized the BLUE CHEESE, I'm very upset she came out with a second ranch and a attitude... This experience has now ended our "Taverna Streak" I will not support a business that makes me feel like I'm a inconvenience to them when I was nothing but...

So, I went for Taco Tuesday. And we’ll, I suppose it all comes down the food. I’m not sure if I am tasting something different than everyone else or it was a rough night. I got shredded chicken tacos and they came cubed and unseasoned. I did not feel like finishing them. Not worth $10. I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by any means but this more so reminded me of going to your friend’s house and you need some munchies after a night of drinking and don’t care about quality.

We were also seated in a joint booth with a party of 6. I said it was okay - which it was! - but there were several empty small, two person tables that we could’ve been seated at. Little odd.

We also had to wait almost 30 mins for our drink to be delivered. It was busy, yes, but I was done with my dinner by the time my drink was served…

Eh, I won’t go back. I am glad others like it but I don’t really see why they have a Taco Tuesday if this is what it’s like. I suggest scheduling more servers or just removing the weekly...

I have been here three times and it is usally good , tonight we went for the tacos , First off server greeted us with " ill be right with you " 10 mins later a group of young girls came in , he immediately went to them and ignored us. Another 10 mins went by and a different server came over ( both males ) he rushed our order, didn't bring napkins or silverware had to ask twice, every time he came over it was like he was bothered..never got a second round of drinks , he couldn't be bothered. As far as the food * (Again normally excellent) tacos were extremely salty, tacos shells were overly soggy and tasted old . The manager didn't come to the table at all . I have been in this industry 35 years, so I understand if someone has an OFF DAY but this was definitely not a good night for them at all .I will go back and hopefully get to talk to the manager , as I said...
