Empire Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Bristol

I ordered pizza and chicken quesadillas . I called to explain the chicken quesadillas were OLD COLD and DRY. I asked to be refunded upon returning the food because I did not eat it !The manager was rude , unprofessional ,and has a nasty attitude! He agreed the quesadillas in fact were probably dry but said that’s what the sour cream and salsa is for. He continued to cut me off and argued and denied the food could not have been old or cold bc he just takes the bag of chicken out the freezer and warms it up while asking if I was saying old or cold. He did not offer to fix the problem. Instead told me QUOTE “ I don’t know what to tell you.” “If I refunded every customer that complained about their food then I wouldn’t make any money”! It ended with I’m not giving you anything take it up with SLICE. I asked for His name and he rudely slammed the phone in my ear and hung up. I called back and asked the employee that answered if I could have the managers name , he put me on hold and came back and replied Ty , I said Ty he said yup Ty and spelled out T- Y and hung up. If you value your money and quality of your food do not do business here. I wish I had read reviews about the place first but I now see firsthand! The photos say enough , I have not ever had a nasty quesadilla until now 🤮 just the looks of it is unappetizing. It was so dry , and hard that you can’t tell the difference between the outside and the inside of it. When we moved to Bristol this place was good but since it changed ownership it has gotten worse and worse. Tonight was the last straw. Ordered through the slice app for it to be delivered at 6:15pm. At 6:30 my wife called because it had not been delivered. Whoever answered the phone was useless and couldn’t even figure out which order was ours. Then after 6-8 minutes in the phone he said…oh it almost there. Finally received delivery 30 minutes late and the delivery driver asked my wife for a tip. The tip had been paid on the app. So the food was late, he had been paid a tip and was asking for more. GTFO. Then we open the pizza and it was gross. We had asked for extra cheese and light sauce. This thing looked like an Elios pizza I wouldn’t have eaten when I was 10 and it was cold. I took the pizza out to him before he left my driveway and told him to take it back. Plenty of pizza places in Bristol so I’m not gonna waste my time on a place that apparently doesn’t even know how to make a pie…let alone deliver it...

I ordered two large pizzas late at night. They delivered them by 11:05PM (after they close). Both pizzas were cold and one had hair on it. I used an app called “slice” to order. I immediately let Slice know what had happened due to the store being closed.

Slice reached out to me in the morning that the store would do nothing about it. I called directly and the woman on the phone was very understanding but kept saying that the owner wouldn’t budge.

I walked into the store after work and discussed it with the owner who made it a huge hassle to get my refund. After I left the owner chased me outside and told me that I was rude and next time not to drink before i went to his location because I was a drunk.i informed him I had just left work and was driving so he was wrong. He proceeded to call me a drunk and walked away.

This place is garbage. I’ll never order from them again. Rating this place one star is one...
