This young lady, and please excuse me for the spelling of her name because it is very exotic and unfamiliar to me but she was absolutely amazing. Auntichelee, was dealing with numerous customers at the same time as a group of eight of us from work. No one in our group had to wait for a refill of drink, when she interacted with us she was incredibly hospitable and polite, she was and is everything I desire in a server. Through the numerous business meetings that I have had all of the servers always seemed like it was their “job” to do and provide us what we wanted.

“Auntichelle” ( my wife and I argued back and forth all the way home what her name tag said LOL) was absolutely amazing because we never had to ask for more water, we never had to ask if we wanted a Nother beverage, and when she brought out the food she specifically knew who in our group order walk and placed the meal down in front of us. In the corporate world I can tell you I go to hundreds of meals a year, it could be his lunch or it could be dinner and the vast majority of the time this server was often confused who ordered what and would ask before serving it to them. This amazing young lady knew exactly who ordered what and specified details as far as things they might or not have wanted things that came with the meal.
For instants, I ordered a garden salad as a side item without olives and my friend ordered the same exact meal with a side salad however she asked for no tomatoes as a post to know all of us this amazing young lady knew exactly who ordered what and specified details as far as things they might or not have wanted things that came with the meal. For instants, I ordered a garden salad as a side item without olives and my friend ordered the same exact meal with a side salad however she asked for no tomatoes as a part of her meal. We didn’t have to discuss it upon ourselves who had who is salad before our meal even came. There were no olives in my salad and there were not any tomatoes in my friend Gianna’s salad.
In this type of industry attention to detail is primary and often times unfortunately overbooked. Our server was absolutely amazing and I am sure your company fat as an employee of the state of Connecticut when we have pre-union meetings to go to and other meetings I will be strongly suggesting/demanding that we meet here before we head down to Meriden. Two thumbs up to whoever hired this young lady because she...
Read moreWith warm weather in June, we sat outside on The Oak Patio to watch musician Timmy Maia cover well-known songs. The Oak Patio serves the TimeOut Sports & Pizza Bar menu which includes usual pub fare such as burgers, gourmet pizza, appetizers, salads and sandwiches plus a few high end dinners. Full bar with craft beers in addition to a good selection of wine. Arrive early if you want to sit in the comfortable sectionals and seatings in front of the stage inside the fenced in area. Our friends got there an hour before the show and we still could only be seated at a table for four outside the fence, which allows diners to see the entertainment but through the iron bar fence.
All of our food and drinks were very good and served in a timely manner: coconut shrimp, calamari and nachos for starters. Kobe burger with bacon and fried egg; French dip handheld sandwich with sliced beef, cheddar and au jus; "Jerry Pizza" with mushrooms and pepperoni.
My partner, an old friend of Timmy's, wanted to say hi during intermission so we went through the lobby of the Doubletree hotel by Hilton Hotel where this venue is located in Bristol, and went inside the enclosure so they could shake hands, catch up and take some photos. It's a nice place to get out and have a meal with or without a band. There's a lot of greenery, palms, plants and white lights under a white tented roof for the...
Read moreMy wife and I live in Derby, CT and the Doubletree Hilton in Bristol is our favorite spot for a one-night getaway and every time we stay we go to the TimeOut Sports Bar for dinner. The atmosphere is casual and we've never encountered loud or obnoxious groups despite it technically being a "sports bar."
We've always been extremely happy with the food and drinks, but on our most recent visit I was still blown away by my food. I ordered a TOSB burger despite very rarely eating ground beef, and this way by far the best burger I've ever had in my life! My wife had a white pizza which was on special and she was also very happy with her dish.
We've considered trying some of the other nearby restaurants when we stay at the Doubletree, but we just can't pass up a guaranteed great meal at a reasonable price and a great, relaxed atmosphere at the...
