Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Bristol

I had a great experience at Zaxby’s of Bristol, but it was clear the establishment was running with minimal staffing. It took about 22 minutes to get my food after ordering, and the manager appeared to be handling almost everything while more guests continued to come in.

The food itself was fresh, hot, and flavorful—worth the wait once it arrived. The atmosphere, however, felt hectic and overwhelming due to the long wait times and steady crowd. As a substitute to Chick-fil-A, Zaxby’s is a solid option, although I did notice the sandwiches appear to be significantly smaller by comparison.

I want to give high praise to the manager I observed. Even in what was clearly a stressful situation, he maintained a calm demeanor and showed professionalism throughout. It was impressive to see someone handle that kind of pressure while still treating customers with respect.

I’ll definitely consider coming back, but next time I might plan around when Chick-fil-A is open to see if the crowds are a little...

I don’t frequent this (Bristol- Pinnacle) location as I live in Indian Trail NC – I was there to have lunch (early afternoon, 2:15 while my mother was having surgery at nearby Bristol Regional Medical Center. I dined-in, ordering the Great 8 Boneless Wings Meal in Tongue Torch sauce flavor. I rated this location at 3-stars for a couple of reasons: When I looked for a place to sit, the first three tables I saw had not been wiped, had food remnants &/or trash on them; After several minutes, just under 10-minutes, I picked up my order from the counter. Upon sitting down, I found that the wings were mostly dry, i.e., sauce had been applied to only 34 wings but not over the entire wing and the other wings had no sauce applied to them at all. Of course, I requested additional sauce but the fact that I had to be the one to apply the initial sauce my own wings was the primary reason for the rating.

First time ever going there, bristol tn at the pinnacle. We were litterally the only car there in the drive thru, and only ordered 2 spicy chicken meals with sweet teas. My wife only asked to 2 zaxby dipping sauces besides her 2 combo meals. They tell us to pull around, we end up waiting on our car for over 15 min almost 20 min for 2 combo orders, they finally bring them out and the teas were not sweet teas, and the spicy chicken sandwiches weren't even spicy chicken andnon top of that they didnt even put the 2 dipping sauces in the bag! They litterally had 20 minutes with no other customers besides one car that was also parked behind us, and still got everything ky wife ordered wrong!!!!
