This food is spiritual y'all. I went on a Saturday around 4p and it was not very busy. Only about four tables but very cozy. I ordered the pollado (chicken) and my friend ordered the arroz chaufa con mariscos (fried rice with seafood). It was made fresh to order and well worth the wait. It was hearty. Hot. Flavorful. Filling. It was the type of meal you enjoy almost in complete awe the entire time while uttering coos of estacy between bites (if you ever come up for air). The skin on my chicken was perfectly crisp and the chicken itself juicy. The potatoes were amazing and the yellow sauce on them became the smother for my chicken as well. I started with a fork and knife but this meal deserved two hands. We finished with two yummy desserts; a dulce leches and tres leches cake. Both were some of the best I've ever tasted and I have tasted a lot of these. Yep. Still the best. I felt like I could go out and face the world. Like all my troubles were no more after eating here. I usually take pictures of my food for my reviews but Spirit said "just eat, my child, and be happy".
It was spiritual...
Read moreWe were looking for a good place of Latin food and we found this place, when we arrived they do not have a waiter or a person for the service, second, the tables and the place was not clean, we got a table that was not even clean. They also don’t have a physical menu, only qR code. The attention is not entirely good. The dishes were delayed about 30 minutes, they also brought me a drink that I didn’t order and we only ordered basic dishes of authentic Peruvian food, the food was good but not worth it for the price it had, too expensive. They also leave you there and they don’t attend to you, I was waiting for them to pick up the dishes and they didn’t come either, I had to get up to pay on my own, but I think it’s understandable and I would recommend hiring a good waiter, and they also charge you a mandatory tip (I have nothing against the tip I always give to people who really do their job well, but this time it wasn’t like that). We were only two tables and not one was well served. In short, they should improve the quality of service and improve...
Read moreMy husband and I visited following a glowing recommendation from a friend who is Peruvian. We had never had Peruvian cuisine before and I must say we were blown away. We had the Sopa de pollo (chicken soup), Papa Rellena, and Papa a la Huancaina. We really wanted to order entrees, but the portions were so generous we were honestly full just from soup and appetizers. The small soup was a meal in and of itself! It was so flavourful and full of delicious ingredients. The Papa Rellena was deliciously flavourful, and the Papa a la Huancaina were a new treat for us. Everything was absolutely fresh, and homemade in the best way. People say you can taste when food was cooked with love, and it was absolutely true here. Okay, so we did manage to squeeze in desserts, because of course you must. The Tres leches cake was divine as was the Creme Volteada. We are looking forward to our next visit! Highly...
