Very nice friendly staff but last 2 times me and my fiance I went there. The food has been mediocre. the last time we went there my fiance ordered the special which was A filet stuffed with crab 1st time came out I think it was still moving red raw..... At one point he pointed out the full tables in the place and said "we are very busy" um you have all these tables and a bar, I guess you never planned on filling them? 2 orders out of 4 had to be sent back. It appears they've put some money into the building, which does look nice.
Unfortunately, the food was not up to what we've come to expect. Both of our filets were dry, the "hollandaise" sauce appeared, and tasted to be lemon butter (I know eggs are out control expensive, but are still needed for hollandaise), asparagus was un cooked, and everything just seemed under seasoned.
In all it would be a good steak for $20, but at $48 you do expect more.
The service was great though, and I look forward to trying it again to see if the food gets back to the previous expectations.
Also, bring the marinara sauce back for the bread sticks. It was the best sauce I've...
