Rocky Grill — Restaurant in Brockway

Very nice friendly staff but last 2 times me and my fiance I went there. The food has been mediocre. the last time we went there my fiance ordered the special which was A filet stuffed with crab 1st time came out I think it was still moving red raw..... Which she likes Her filet medium rare Some blood don't bother her but this was just plain raw. So we Had the waitress take it back and re fire She was young but still seemed not very pleased. Stake is brought back........ Low and behold still Raw. Sent back a second time For a re fire....... Yep came back still wrong. Ordered a bottle of wine Clarion river red, they only have the big one which that was fine with me and my fiance. they brought it out chilled set it on the table by time Our food Was Serverd wine was 1,/2warm. You think they would have taken it back in the cooler Chilled it for us Or at least brought an ice bucket. Then nothing was done about the steak miss Fortune. Waitress act like it's a normal thing. This place is highly overrated, understaffed, and the person acting as the head waiter in his wanna be ruby slippers was as rude as they get. At one point he pointed out the full tables in the place and said "we are very busy" um you have all these tables and a bar, I guess you never planned on filling them? 2 orders out of 4 had to be sent back. The Rocky Grill? Strong pass. Not ever going back there. Oh did I mention we had 530 reservations and finally got food about 730? Hoss's would have been a far sight cheaper with better food. They charged me 35 dollars for an angel food cake with strawberry sauce they probably got from the bakery at the local grocery store! This used to be our favorite spot in the area. We were excited to try it under new ownership.

It appears they've put some money into the building, which does look nice.

Unfortunately, the food was not up to what we've come to expect. Both of our filets were dry, the "hollandaise" sauce appeared, and tasted to be lemon butter (I know eggs are out control expensive, but are still needed for hollandaise), asparagus was un cooked, and everything just seemed under seasoned.

In all it would be a good steak for $20, but at $48 you do expect more.

The service was great though, and I look forward to trying it again to see if the food gets back to the previous expectations.

Also, bring the marinara sauce back for the bread sticks. It was the best sauce I've...
