Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Broken Arrow

Typically come to this location because it’s closer, but after today, I’ll be going to another donut shop from now on.

There were no chocolate glazed donuts, with no hole, but there were plain glazed. I asked if I could get 3 altogether, with only 2 being filled with the chocolate filling (which now found out is just chocolate pudding), & one of them having the chocolate glaze on top with a Bavarian cream filling.

After explaining this for about 3-4 times, I’m told she could do it. When she came from the back, I was given a box of 3 basic glazed donuts (different from the ones she had originally pulled for me) & had those filled instead.

I reiterated what I was asking for, about another 4 times, & the woman apologized. She then proceeded to the back with the correct donuts, but came back with ALL donuts having chocolate pudding, not chocolate glaze, on top. I explained that was not what I had asked for, but after being there for approximately 30-40 minutes for a dozen donuts, donut holes, & sausage rolls, I wasn’t going to waste more time.

Have given this place 3 opportunities. My family and I have been disappointed all 3 visits. This past weekend was it for us. $56 for some sausage rolls and donuts for 6 people. Same order at other stores is around $40 Never in my life have I seen 3 children get donuts and not eat them after a few bites. Haven't ever seen my children state donuts "aren't good and do not taste right". I can understand, asked for a chocolate Bismark with Bavarian cream, go to eat it and it's not Bavarian cream. Can't tell the taste difference between sausage rolls and jalapeno sausage rolls. Selection is never great, even first thing in the morning. Service is never friendly. The fake Google reviews that are posted for months before they even opened should have been a warning. Sad because this store is a mile from home and we were hoping for success. Sadly, there are much better stores a few miles...

This is the absolute best place to snag a morning treat! Huge selection of different kinds of donuts (cherry cheese cake donut? Amazing) and the BEST sausage rolls on the planet, hands down. The shop itself is cute and comfortable, somewhere between cozy diner and stopping in your favorite salon; very comfortable and inviting. This place is a treasure and you deserve to stop in and snag yourself something sweet on your way...
