Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Broken Arrow

We were out of groceries for the night so I said, "Let's get pizza." I had a coupon for 30% off from doing my taxes at H&R Block. I didn't even know how close they were but it was just down the road so very convenient. The thing is my son ordered the food from the app we had just downloaded and accidentally somehow ordered the wrong thing without even knowing it. I picked up the boxes of food not really thinking until I was walking to the front door of my house. I should have had four pizza boxes but instead I had two and two small strangely shaped boxes, something was amiss. After discovering our mishap which was surely our own negligence, I called to order what I was missing. I just wanted to know if I could get the 30% off since I was coming back a second time but would you believe it? They said they understood and that they'd just fulfill the order as I thought it was going to be, no extra charge. Wow, how often does that happen? Yeah, they didn't even flinch about it, just exhibited a "Let's make this right" attitude. I love that so much. I often wonder how much negativity our whole world might avoid if we all adopted this genuine attitude of helpfulness when it wasn't even warranted. It's so inspiring to come across in your daily life, but when it does, I think we should shout out about it since we learn from example and we're all much more likely to be kind when we receive kindness in like from others first. Every time I’ve ordered from the store it’s on point, so today was no different. I arrived a little early and saw multiple people carrying many pizzas out (5-8), but what I didn’t expect was the one dude workhorse running the entire store by himself. I’ve seen some pretty crazy food service in my life, including working at a certain chaotic breakfast chain myself, but this one takes the cake. The fact that this dude got my order out on time as well as all these others with no help is honestly baffling. My husband ordered online and they said 20mins for pickup. When I got there they asked my name, I told them it was under my or my husbands name. The guy making the pizzas said..oh your pizza was still cooking so another 10mins. When I came back from waiting in my car they acted like no one knew where my pizza was. I'm assuming this lady was the manager that came to the register and looked up my order. She said it's under your husbands name and it was sitting there the whole time!
