Very bad pizza. Always undercooked. Always drowned in sauce. Not just once. This location has had this problem for years. Unfortunately I do not get to decide every meal for my household, and my roommate will often forget how bad they are, then rue the decision to order it after the fact. Another pizza mostly thrown in the garbage.
Crust white, not golden brown. Pepperonis wet and soggy, not cooked. Dough often not fully cooked. And this is when you ask for it well done, like we do every time. They just pull it out earlier than a regular cook anyways. Same if you ask them not to drown it in sauce. There is either no sauce, or more sauce than pizza, to the point you have to lift the cheese and scrape sauce off in order to eat it. It doesn't change the fact that it is soggy and undercooked, but at least you will be swallowing more liquid than solid.
I have spoken to multiple managers multiple times over the years. Always promised results. Never once delivered, even when they claimed they were going to personally prepare the pizza.
In general Romeos is one of my favorite chains. Even this location was good, years ago. Not anymore. The one positive note is that the staff are polite and friendly. Unfortunately, I am trying to pay for edible food, not solely...
Read moreI love Romeo's pizza. I've been eating it about once a week for the past 5 years. I'd be the last person giving them a bad rating. So I know what im talking about :) I ordered at least 20 times here. And would notice, something is wrong with the pizza. I eventually figured it out, the dough is not cooked enough. Under the cheese and sauce, you'll find that the dough is so stretchy it's disgusting. Last time I ordered from here, I asked them to make it well done. From the outside it looked pretty dark, but when i bit into it, it was the same old raw dough in the middle. I haven't ever done this before, but I went back to the cooks, and told them to put it through again, because the dough is raw. The dude didn't believe me and told me "well I can't make it like a biscuit" and kept repeating that every time I tried to explain to him. The moral of the story is, don't buy Romeo's pizza on snow road, I drive to Berea to get mine, even though its far. And they make it perfect every time. 5 stars for Romeo's pizza, 1 for this location. Really hope they look at their ovens and see what...
Read moreWe LOVE Romeo’s pizza, however, the consistency of taste, standard of quality, and the cleanliness of this location and the one at Pleasant Valley & Ridge is much lower. We used to live closer to the PV & Ridge location and LOVE everything about that location. This location on Snow and W130th needs to improve! The store is dirty and always hot. Several times we’ve gotten pizza the crust is mushy. They don’t how to make the Tuscan Pepperoni as good as the PV & Ridge location. In fact, we dislike it at the Snow & W130th location. We still order from here out of lack of time sometimes, but usually go the extra miles to the PV & Ridge location. Please raise your standards and provide better for your employees.
And for goodness sakes Romeo’s as a company - please improve your app!!!
7/17/24 - Thanks for your reply. I don’t need to connect with the owner to make things right. Just have the owner improve the store. Perhaps the owner could visit the PV & Ridge Rd, Parma location to see and talk with the owner of that store and get some ideas what could be done to improve the Snow...
