I signed up to attend Bryant & Stratton- Parma location in October of 2017. I was entering the Nursing program. I had previously obtain by Associates degree in Health care administration at another school. When I enrolled at Bryant & Stratton I had to pass a standardized test (that I failed by a couple points). I was placed in classes that were basic: math, English, computer, communication and a healthcare class. my course schedule stated that I was in a nursing program. 2 months into me taking classes I went to speak with the academic advisor and was revealed that I was put into a bachelor's degree program for health care administration. Which is not what I signed up for. I withdrew from the school in November of 2017. 2 MONTHS!!!! I wasted my time because I was fed lies about their program. Now fast forward, I am attending a different collage and Bryant & Stratton College is reporting to my credit for an outstanding balance that I have no idea why they are charging me. I was never informed that I would have a balance due because I had signed up with financial aid and never even completed their program. They told me that I applied to scholarships (which they made me do) and owe the school tuition because they could not apply those scholarships and get paid because I withdrew from the program. I never personally received any type of disbursement to be held responsible for money that should have went to the school. I withdrew from the program because it was not what I signed up for. I was not like I attended a full semester and changed my mind... I attended 2 months before discovering what I was really taking classes for a program I already had a degree in. That I had already had completed credits for. Now they are refusing to remove this from my credit and I will be filling a formal complaint against them. I advise anyone considering attending this school to make sure your T's are crossed because this school is full of...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars and still be able to post this, I would. This school is not managed properly. The quality of education versus the amount of money people are dropping on the nursing program is absolutely disturbing. Professors teaming up against clearly brilliant students just to save themselves is only one thing, also refusing to help students achieve their goals until the CEO of the institution was contacted, AND having the nerve to have a casual attitude when a professor is such a terrible fit that students with beautiful education records are at risk for failing in their last semester. Over twenty incredibly smart people should not have to redo a semester class due to the inability to own up to a poor hire or poor teaching methods. The campuses do not even have a standard for teaching! They use polar opposite teaching methods and exam preparation!! I am on the home end of this. My loved one and his classmates are barely working enough to pay for school as it is, just trying to better their future as well as their family's future. I am absolutely disgusted that a a college would put somebody's future on the line to keep looking good and take more money. Do they have any clue what it is like to stress over the future? Over money? What about everyday expenses? Guess not. Guess our families are swimming in pools of cash. As for you, Bryant & Stratton, our story will not be put up on a shelf to never be heard. Whether you make the changes needed is up to the faculty. We, on the other hand, will tell of your money hungry institution and will recommend against your education. You are not educating just anybody.... these are future professionals who have no confidence at all. Nobody should go through what they have...
Read moreI attended Bryant & Stratton About 4-5 years ago and decided to go to a community college for my pre requisite classes because it was cheaper, I'm now re enrolling and the admissions process has not been very smooth, the first time I enrolled I was there for about 2-3 hours but everything was done, this time I had to wait because it was too early to sign up for classes, financial aid applications only last for 30 days which is fine, I called the morning of my scheduled appointment to double check the time and was told it would be best to reschedule because there was a problem with the scheduling system, so a week later I come back in, there was a problem with my I'd/password to log on to their student sight which I needed to do some things on in order to do my schedule so I was told I would have to comeback in and finish it but I could get an "unofficial" schedule. They fixed the issue for me to be able to sign in to the student sight but I was told my application that I filled out at the end of December beginning of January was not submitted so I wasn't technically accepted to attend yet and I can not do my schedule until I've been accepted. So now I have to go back again in about a week to get my schedule done. Don't get me wrong everyone was nice but this is not a good impression to someone who is going to be spending a big amount of money to come to this school and this will be my third time, if you count the first rescheduled date to go in and get my schedule done, not to mention I'm missing...
