We went on a Sunday for breakfast/brunch and you guessed it, they were very busy. They only had 2 tables open, but they also have a counter area, so we decided to sit there. The hostess gave us menus breakfast on one side lunch on the other, we both ordered breakfast. My wife had 2 eggs over easy, fruit, toast and a pancake, I had the cinnamon French toast with a side of bacon. Let's start with the bacon, oh my gosh, thick cut, not burnt, awesome flavor, it was perfect! The eggs too were perfect, not to runny, just perfect, the fruit was fresh and very tasty, her pancake was the size of a dinner plate, big, fluffy, very tasty. The French toast had just the right amount of cinnamon, grilled to perfection a touch of powdered sugar on top with a side of maple syrup, pure heaven. As I stated they were busy, there was only 3 waitresses working, they were one short, so the bus person and hostess stepped up and in to help! For as busy as they were, every customer was greeted, and served promptly and the food came out in a very timely fashion. You can tell that the employees care for the customers and are well trained and enjoy their jobs. The price was right in line with other restaurants, but the food and the service is a class above every other restaurant in the...
Read moreWanted to try a new breakfast place, and found THE breakfast place. This was some of the best breakfast I have personally found in the area. My wife and I were seated immediately and Becky was our waitress. She is very sweet and made sure our drinks were topped off and that we were taken care of well. We both ordered the country fried steak. When I was offered the choice of pancakes on side I was informed that they only use fresh blueberries in them, which was perfect! The steak was crispy and the gravy was slightly spicy and delectable. The hashbrowns were crispy, buttery, and probably some of the best I’ve ever had. The eggs were creamy and well seasoned, but the highlight would be my pancakes. The blueberries added a welcome freshness and the maple syrup was served to the table hot. If I had to make a complaint, the water had a bit of an off-putting aftertaste, but the coffee helped wash it down. Thanks for breakfast, and a new spot for...
Read moreStopped in for breakfast. 20 minute wait which is normal. While waiting someone had complained that other people were being seated before them despite being their first. It also occurred with us, a group of 3 that arrived after us were seated before us as well a man and his son who walked in and were almost immediately seated while we had been waiting for 20 minutes. Thankfully they pointed out that we were there before them so we did get seated. Waited roughly 30 minutes after ordering and still had not gotten food. Looking around we noticed numerous tables about 10 also had no food, including people who had got seated shortly after we arrived. When asked if food was almost ready they said it hasn’t been started yet. It did not seem like this place can keep up with what a normal brunch restaurant could accommodate. Had to leave before the food ever got started due to having already been waiting...
