Hello and Good Evening Google Family. Happy Motivational Monday. My mom and I finally made it to the last installment of the people who own the four diners. Swedesboro Diner, Folcroft Diner, Aston Diner and Falcon Diner are all owned by the same people. I wanted to visit all four so that I can compare all four and say which I like the best. Swedesboro and Folcroft Diner are tied for second place. Aston and Falcon are tied for first place. What I loved about the Falcon Diner was Ebru, she was our server. From the moment we arrived, she was like our personal bodyguard. She helped my mom to the bathroom and stayed with her the entire time in the bathroom. Then when we visited again after we ate, Ebru checked with us to make sure that we were alright. The food was great! I ordered broiled shrimp and grits, with a side of sweet potatoes and grits. My mom ordered her usual broiled tilapia with mashed potatoes with gravy and applesauce. Ebru brought us rolls and butter. Also we started with soup or salad. My mom opted for the chicken noodle soup and I opted for the salad, which was at the salad bar. I really enjoyed that, since I could pick my own items and get as much or as little as I liked. After the meal, I showed my discount key tag where you get 15 percent off if you are a preferred customer and we are!!!! That always comes in handy. Ebru asked us what desserts we wanted and we said, one rice and three banana pudding. We always take it with us. We can never eat it in the restaurant. When we were leaving, another guy employee picked up our bags with the desserts in them and Mom's blanket and handed them to me. These people are so nice!!! WE felt like VIP's today and we are not. Mom and I really enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely return, in two weeks. We will be going back to Aston next week. Good night Google Family!!!!!! Our meal was $58.91, with the discount, it was $53.78. I see that they only took off $5.00 and Aston takes off the entire 15 percent. Oh well, I will see about that, the next time I go. The Falcon Diner used to be The Empire Diner. I saw the Empire Diner when Mom and I were driving there. The Empire Diner is now...

Gateway Diner used to be the only diner my hubby and I would go to, but then they got shut down and we tried almost all of the other diners in the area and decided that this was our new favorite. On a whole, they have great servers, but a couple of them aren't the greatest. That's part of life, though. Lol. The atmosphere is decent, but there's a lot of non-regulars that also go there, and that can kinda kill it for me at times. My old spot spoiled me, so now I think I have pretty high standards for diners. Just wanted to make everyone aware of this.

Update: they've settled with seemingly more permanent wait staff and it's for the best. 95% of their servers are amazing and sweet people who are so attentive and yet give you your space, and actually take the time to get to know you and have a relationship with you. I haven't had that since Gateway Diner shut down. Food wise, I get pretty much the same meal every time we go, but that's just because it's who I am, anything I've ever tried there is very delicious, though, and they always give large portions so I always have leftovers (even my hubby usually does, lol). Maybe my original 4 star ratings were a tad premature. They definitely deserve all 5 stars in every aspect now. Thank you everyone at Falcon for always giving my family and I a great experience when going out to get some diner grub (my favorite kind...

Hey there food enthusiasts and diners alike! I recently swung by the Falcon Diner, formerly known as the Empire Diner, and let me tell you, they've made some impressive changes! First things first, let's talk about the atmosphere. The building has always had its charm,. And let's talk management – major improvement alert! Back in the Empire days, folks were cautious because of the onion overload in their dishes. But at the Falcon Diner, they're actually asking if you want onions in your food. That's a thoughtful touch! Now, onto the food itself. It's solid, and the prices are much more reasonable than before. They still have a few minor hiccups to sort out, but nothing major worth mentioning. All in all, the Falcon Diner is heading in the right direction. Swing by, give them a try, and enjoy a satisfying meal without any surprises.

We stopped at the Falcon Diner as the next stop on our diner tour. Located on the Brooklawn Circle, it’s a great example of a classic New Jersey diner. The traditional look and the super-friendly staff made for a very enjoyable experience. I ordered the fried clam strip platter, which came with soup (or salad), French fries, a few onion rings, and coleslaw. Everything was really good, and the coleslaw was especially delicious. My wife had the turkey dinner, piled high with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with candied carrots that were sweet and flavorful. Overall, a wonderful stop with excellent diner-style food and welcoming service.
