American Legion — Local services in Brooklyn Center

I have been going here to get food for takeout on and off for the last 2 years. Typically I order the same things. Today I was looking to place an order so that I was able to pick it up. When I called I was placed on hold for more than 6 minutes and then someone picked up the phone and hung it up. I only know they hung it up because I heard the wrestling around with the phone before the call was disconnected. I know that I did not accidentally do it because I actually called them on speaker phone and the phone was sitting down. I attempted to call back more than 12 times thinking that maybe there was an issue except it just rang for about three to four times before going to a voicemail stating to call back. I'm not sure what to think of this but I will tell you one thing, I'm not happy with what just happened and there is no excuse for it. I guess I'll be finding a new place to order from, which really stinks because their food that I ordered was really good. I love the Legion for take out. The specials are a pleasure. The food is 90% great. The burgers are divine and huge. The buns they use on the burgers are great. The size of the hot beef/.turkey is crazy big. Flatbread pizzas are great. The 2 ladies who work are fabulous. I believe one just recently left. The only reason for the 4 star was 4 things. The fries always change(these last ones were gross),they rarely put my pickles in the box and once I had spoiled black olives on my taco salad. I’ve been coming to the American Legion in Brooklyn Center for a long time and I have always enjoyed my service. This evening, I went there with a friend who had gone with many times and the bartender was very rude. He was very short with me and everyone else in the bar and in my opinion, he shouldn’t be working there if he doesn’t like his job he needs to quit. He brings a bad vibe to this place and it’s a good bar. He was just rude and disrespectful and I have never been anything but kind and gracious shame on him !!! Time to leave and...
