Just discovered this cool Christian Coffee Shop in Brookshire affiliated with Manna House Men’s Addiction Recovery, Restoration & Discipleship Program.

Great people trying to help men with addiction issues, doing great work. Also Manna Bike shop & Restoration Church on the same property.

Good coffee and frappes, also sodas available, limited food items now but expanding their offerings and hours of operation soon. Current hours 8-2 Mon-Sat opening at 7am soon and will be open later as well.

Great fellowship opportunity with staff. Super nice guys. Good place for a Bible Study or meeting friends and support a great non profit program doing terrific things in the community.

Stopped by for coffee while working. My expectations were very low, was just desperate to wake my sleepy brain up. Ended up having a good cup of cappuccino and really good and meaningul conversation with the gentleman who made and served the coffee. I believe this coffee shop is here to support men in recovery. I highly recommend this place both for the beautiful energy exchange I experienced with the barista and the support you, as a patron can provide to the beautiful people working here as they heal. I live too far away from this lil coffee shop, so I am glad I got to experience it once. Would come back again if i am in the area again for work, which may be highly unlikely. What a beautiful experience this morning at The Awakening Coffee Shop! My boyfriend and I were on a trip to San Antonio and decided to choose here rather than a Starbucks or Dunkin', and I’m so happy we did! The location and atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful. We walked in and were immediately greeted by one of the most kind people I’ve met! I wish I caught his name but he was so helpful and suggested some great coffee choices. They even have Goat milk here which is so uncommon but tasted great! Definitely different than what I’m used to but not bad at all!
