The only way to describe Mariela is that she is an artist. I am still in awe of you beautiful our flowers were!
Starting from the first call: I spoke to many other florists, Casa de Flores being the fifth. Within five minutes of speaking with Mariela, I know that I would be choosing Casa de Flores. Her curiosity about what I wanted as well as her way of describing her vision helped me visualize what we would be getting. After speaking with four other florists that listed off flower names that I had never heard of before that left me struggling to really understand what I would be getting, I knew she was the one! After we spoke, she sent a beautiful proposal filled with pictures of each individual flower she selected, as well as color palettes, inspiration images, and mood boards. With this proposal I perfectly understood her vision and what she would be designing for me, and I was excited!
The day of our wedding, when the arrangements arrived, I was floored. They were perfect. Everything she constructed exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. I can only hope that my attempts to preserve my bouquet (AKA my gorgeous piece of art) will be successful. Everything from the boutonnieres to the table arrangements to the alter arrangements to the cake topper to my sisters bouquets were stunning and flowed together perfectly. So perfectly that my mother refused to leave anything behind and we somehow managed to get everything into our carryons and back home to Boston to preserve and cherish :)
Thank you Mariela for your artistry, thoughtfulness, and attention to...
Read moreHonestly my expectations for this store were very high. I found their website on Instagram and thought the arrangements they offered were unique. I decided to place an order for my mother and mother in law and the flowers I received were okay. I ordered the “Matitas” and the arrangement I received lacked a lot of color compared to the picture and some of the green plants were withered away. It also looks a lot bigger and fuller in the picture and for some reason mine just looks like a bunch of green plants put together. For the price I paid it just wasn’t worth it, which was 84 dollars. I added photos to see the comparison and I realize that it definitely wasn’t worth the money and drive. I did order the “Tazitas” and that arrangement actually came out beautiful.
Edit: Mariela reached out to me and has offered to resolve this issue. As soon as I get my updated flowers I will post how my new arrangement came out! she called me personally to address my issue! Update: The new arrangement I received was beyond beautiful. I am so thankful that Mariela went out of her way to reach out to me and resolve the issue. If I lived closer I would definitely check out her flower shop! When I am in town I definitely will! Thank you once again for the...
Read moreI first met Mariela at a local shop she helped run with her family. From there I learned that she was studying at Texas A&M and was working hard towards her dream of owning her own flower business. I knew that she was talented, but when she made all of my flower arrangements for my daughters quinceañera, she blew me away! Our event was held at the event venue, The Springs in Katy, and all of the color and greenery Mariela brought in made the venue have the perfect elegant country touch. Casa de Flores Design is the ideal small business to support. They have a great team that is headed by Mariela, and each one is equally dedicated to making your experience with them be of the utmost quality; from their customer service, to the most minuscule detail in any floral piece, they do everything to make your memorable day perfect. We’ve been part of other projects Casa de Flores Design has done and Mariela and her team always leave me in awe. I will definitely continue to support them and I highly recommend Casa de...
